ALDUB Boojie Wonderland: ANSERA Volume 9

The ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode opens with Donya Ariana happily acknowledging Nidora’s baby bump. “Napakaswerte mo talaga na natanggap mo na ang lalaki.” (You are really very lucky with the man you ended up with.) Nidora’s baby bump was already evident by this time. Donya Ariana spoke of Anselmo fondly here. “Bagay na bagay kayo, hija.” (You really look good together dear.)

Beyonce agreed with Donya Ariana. “I see the sparkle in your eyes. Very electrifying. See this dress? It will fit your future baby.” Beyonce gave Nidora the baby dress despite not knowing yet the baby’s gender at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. Donya Ariana liked the dress too. “Bagay yan ano?” Mamaya ha, hija? Mag-ayos ka na, hija. Mamaya darating na si Anselmo. Sana magmana ng ganda sa ‘yo ang batang yan ha?” (Looks good isn’t it? Just remember later, dear. Get dressed. Anselmo will be arriving later. Hopefully the baby gets its beauty from you.)

Apparently, this scene in the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode is just a dream sequence. Lola Nidora was soon interrupted by Donya Tinidora’s slaps. “Ano ba?” (What?) Donya Tinidora admitted slapping Lola Nidora. “Lakas na ng sampal ko, tulog ka!” (My slap is already hard and you’re still asleep!) Boss Joey had to ask. “Bakit parang bumait ata si Mama.” (How come Mama was extra nice?) Donya Tinidora mentioned how it’s all in Lola Nidora’s head. “Nananaginip!” (She’s dreaming!)

Lola Nidora was upset. “Ikaw eh. Basag-trip ka eh. Ganda ganda na ng panaginip ko, ginugulo mo.” (You and your mood-wreckers! My dream looked so good, and you pestered me.) Donya Tinidora had to ask for the whole dream at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Ano yang panaginip mo?” (What was your dream?) Lola Nidora then shared. “Sinusuklayan ako ni Mama dahil magkikita daw kami ni Anselmo. Tapos si Beyonce. Close na close ni Mama.” (Mama was combing my hair since I will be seeing Anselmo. Then Beyonce. She’s very close with Mama.)

Donya Tinidora was immediately skeptical. “Sabihin na nating natanggap na ni Mama. Kabaligtaran talaga yun. Tandaan mo. Basta panaginip, kabaligtaran yun.” (Let’s say that Mama has accepted [everything]. It’s really the other way around. Remember. Any dream is the opposite [of reality].) Boss Joey then shared his insight at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Kaya yung iba binabaliktad ang unan. Kapag may panaginip na hindi maganda.” (That’s why some people flip their pillows. Whenever there is a bad dream.)

Donya Tinidora contributed some of her views at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Pag gusto mong magkatotoo, ikwento mo. Kapag masama ang panaginip, ikwento mo.” (If you want it to be realized, share it. If the dream is bad, share it.) Lola Nidora speculated on the reason. ”Para magkaroon ng closure?” (To give it closure?) Donya Tinidora confirmed Lola Nidora’s hunch. “Tama. Kaya ngayon ituloy mo ang kwento mo.” (Correct. So now continue with your story.)

Lola Nidora wasn’t still in the mood. “Bakit mo nga pala ako ginising?” (Why did you wake me up?) Donya Tinidora had to explain at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Kasi nakatunganga ka diyan. Tulog ka nang tulog. Wala ka namang ginagawa. Ginigising kita para ituloy mo na ang kwento mo.” (Because you’re just sitting there. You kept sleeping. You’re not doing anything anyway. I woke you up to go on with the story.) Lola Nidora just noticed something amiss. She opened her bag and saw that it’s empty. “Nasaan ang diary ko?” (Where is my diary?)

Donya Tinidora tried to avoid suspicion from Lola Nidora. “Wag mo kong tingnan ng ganyan. Dalawa lang tayo dito. Pero wala akong kinalaman.” (Stop staring at me like that. It’s just the two of us here. But I have nothing to do with it.) Lola Nidora wasn’t so suspicious of her sister though at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Wala yung diary. Tinidora, tingnan mo.” (The diary is not here. Tinidora, come look.) Donya Tinidora insisted her innocence. “Basta dinatnan kita dito. Nakatunganga ka.” (All I know is that I found you here. Alone.)

Lola Nidora had to turn to her bodyguards. “Nasaan yung diary? Rogelio Rogelio Rogelio!” (Where’s the diary?) The Rogelio Rogelio Rogelio immediately responded to Lola Nidora’s call at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. Lola Nidora asked them again. And they were visibly elbowing each other. Lola Nidora had to ask them again. “San nyo nilagay ha?” (Where did you put it?)

Donya Tinidora had to talk to them herself. “Baka ako pagbintangan ng kapatid ko. San nyo nilagay?” (My sister might accuse me. Where did you put it?) As expected, Donya Tinidora went a little physical and slapped one Rogelio. Allan K found Donya Tinidora’s behavior at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode as familiar. “Nagmana kay Mama.” (She got it from her Mama.)

Lola Nidora held to her bag as she gave the Rogelio Rogelio Rogelio instructions. “Halughugin nyo!” (Find it in all corners!) Donya Tinidora was again disappointed with Lola Nidora’s henchmen. “Yang mga alalay mo, napakaburara niyan. Pati ikaw, masyado ka nang nagiging malilimutin.” (Your assistants are so reckless. Even you, you’re becoming forgetful.) Lola Nidora addressed her senility at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Ulyanin na nga ako eh.” (I am becoming senile.)

Donya Tinidora tried to make Lola Nidora narrate the ANSERA saga though. “Ikwento mo na.” (Share it.) Lola Nidora doesn’t trust her memory though. “Ano ikukwento ko?” (What will I share?) Donya Tinidora thought to kill off some time at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Habang hinahanap nila, mag-Sugod Bahay muna. Pambihira naman. Akap akap niya yung bayong niya, nawala pa.” (While they are looking for it, let’s take the Sugod Bahay errand for the meantime. She’s already hugging the bag and she still lost it.)

Donya Tinidora and Lola Nidora then returned to their spot after their Sugod Bahay errand at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. The Rogelio Rogelio Rogelio found 3 “bayong” (palm bags) for Lola Nidora to pick from. Boss Joey realized how it got harder for the grannies. “Naging tatlo pa yung diary?” (They now have 3 diaries?) Donya Tinidora was so pissed off. She slapped one of the Rogelio Rogelio Rogelio again.

Boss Joey then gave Donya Tinidora the signal to help Lola Nidora. She ended up channeling Willie Revillame of the game show “Wowowin”. This is when the search for the diary shifted to a random improv routine at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. Donya Tinidora asked Lola Nidora. “Diary o bayong?” (The diary or the bag?) Lola Nidora quickly replied. “Diary.”

Donya Tinidora then discovered the diary with the singing Rogelio’s bag. “Ang laman ng bayong ay …. DIARY!” (The bag’s content is …. THE DIARY!) Lola Nidora was so happy at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Nakita na ang diary. Bakit na sa ‘yo to?” (The diary is found. Why is this with you?) Lola Nidora immediately smacked the Rogelio holding the diary at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode.

The Rogelio with the bag containing the diary apologized. One of the few instances that one of the Rogelio Rogelio Rogelio spoke. “Pasensiya na po. Nagpalit po kasi ako ng bayong.” (My apologies. I switched the bag.) Lola Nidora then asked further at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “San nyo nahanap ito?” (Where did you find it?) Rogelio admitted a mix up among the bags. “Nagpalit po ng bayong. Di nailagay.” (I changed the bag. I failed to put [the diary].)

Lola Nidora held the diary. “Magpapalit kayo ng bayong. Magpapalit din ako ng Rogelio.” (If you’re going to change the bags. I’d change Rogelio’s too.) Donya Tinidora had to chastise Lola Nidora at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode too. “Wag kang masyadong ulyanin. Pinapahalata mong ulyanin ka na.” (Don’t be too forgetful. You’re making it obvious that you’re senile.) Lola Nidora didn’t think Donya Tinidora was the right person to lecture her about senility. “Wow! Hiyang hiya naman ako sa yo.” (I am so embarrassed to you.)

Donya Tinidora hated Lola Nidora’s episodes with her memory gap. “Nabubuko ka tuloy. Dinadamay mo pa ako.” (You’re getting busted. And I get dragged along with it.) Lola Nidora knew how to make her sister shut up though. “Babasahin ko na.” (I’d start reading.) Donya Tinidora then braced herself at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Basahin mo na.” (Start reading.) Lola Nidora is bracing herself too. “Bumubwelo pa ko eh.” (I’m still setting the mood.)

Lola Nidora begun with where she left off at the ALDUB Panibagong Lihim episode. “Dear Diary. Naging mapusok kami noon ni Anselmo. Kumapit kami sa dinidikta ng aming mga puso. At mula sa aming pagmamahalan, umusbong ang pagsibol ng buhay. Katibayan ng aming pag-iibigan.” (I was raging with hormones then with Anselmo. We clung to what our hearts dictated. And from our love, life sprouted. Proof of our love.)

Boss Joey would like to know the “detailed encounter” though at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Hindi ba puedeng idetalye yun? Kung paanong nangyari?” (Can’t you narrate it in detail?) Allan K let it pass. “Hayaan mo na. Tuwang tuwa naman si Ging Ging.” (Never mind. Ging Ging is happy with what she’s hearing anyway.) Lola Nidora wrote a brief prayer in her diary entry. “Sana madali itong natanggap ni Mama.” (Hopefully, Mama would accept it soon enough.)

Donya Ariana was so upset. She almost teared up at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Lapastangan ka! At dun pa sa hampaslupang yun!” (How defiant of you! And to that scoundrel!) Nidora sat on the side of the bed crying. “Mahal ko po si Anselmo. At mahal din niya ako. Hindi pa po ba sapat yun para mapatunayan namin na para talaga kami sa isa’t isa? Handa ko po harapin lahat ng hirap. Basta kasama ko po ang taong mahal ko. Hayaan nyo na po kami.” (I love Anselmo. And he loves me too. Isn’t that enough for us to prove that we are meant for each other? I am ready to face all difficulties. As long as I am with the one I love. Please let us be.)

Donya Ariana ended up delivering an almost calm sermon at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Pano mo nagawa sa akin ito? Matapos kitang mapalaki ng maayos? Simula nang ipanganak ka, sinabi ko sa aking sarili. Bibigyan ko kayo ng buhay na maayos hanggang sa kaya ko. Pag nagkakasakit kayo, parang hinihiwa ang puso ko. Tuwing may luhang tumutulo sa inyong mga mata, parang dinudurog ang buo kong pagkatao. Naiintindihan mo ba yun, Nidora?” (How could you do this to me? After raising you properly? Ever since you were born, I told myself. I would give you a good life until I can. Whenever you are sick, it’s as if my heart is pierced. Every time tears fall from your eyes, it’s as if my very being is crushed. Do you understand that Nidora?)

At this point in the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. Donya Ariana’s tears can’t be held back anymore. “Mataas ang pangarap ko sa inyo dahil gusto kong mapaayos ang buhay nyo! Kung mawala man ako sa mundong ito, alam ko. May nagawa akong tama. Pero dahil sa ginawa mo, pinaramdam mo sa akin na mali ako. Na hindi ako naging isang mabuting ina. Na hindi pa sapat na ibigay ko ang buong buhay ko para mahalin ko kayo.” (I have high dreams for you because I want your life to be stabilized! If ever I’m gone from this world, I know. I did something right. But because of what you did, you made me feel that I am wrong. That I am not a good mother. That my life is not enough to love you.)

It was the sermon that made Nidora feel guilty. “Mama, patawarin nyo na po ako. Hayaan nyo na po kami ni Anselmo.” (Please forgive us. Please let me be with Anselmo.) Donya Ariana refused to back down at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Malilimutan mo rin si Anselmo. Ipapadala kita sa America.” (You will eventually forget Anselmo. I will send you to the United States.) Nidora protested. “Mama, please. Wag nyo naman po akong ilayo kay Anselmo. Nagmamakaawa po ako sa inyo, Mama.” (Don’t take me away from Anselmo. I beg you, Mama.) Again, Donya Ariana want to hear none of it.

Lola Nidora continued reading at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Patuloy ang pagsusumikap ni Anselmo. Umaasa siyang makakaipon ng sapat para pagharap niya kay Mama, masabi niyang hindi lamang pag-ibig ang bubuhay sa amin. Hindi siya nagpadaig sa kanyang karamdaman.” (Anselmo kept striving. He is expecting to save enough money to face Mama, and say that love is not the only thing that will keep us alive. He refused to give in to his ailment.)

Anselmo’s neighbor and cousin, Pepito, noticed Anselmo’s deteriorating health. “Parang namumulta ka.” (You look pale.) Anselmo dismissed Pepito’s observations at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Galing lamang ako sa paglalako ng gulay. Wag kang magalala sa akin. Kahit papaano, nakakaipon-ipon na ako.” (I just got done selling vegetables. Don’t worry about me. I managed to save anyhow.) Pepito found it harmful for Anselmo’s health though. “Di masama maging masipag. Pero parang inabuso mo na ang katawan mo. Tapos napapadalas ang sakit ng ulo mo.” (Being industrious is not bad. But you’re abusing your body. And your headache is getting more often.)

Anselmo insisted that he’s okay. “Balewala ito. Wag kang mag-alala sa akin. Dahil lang siguro ito sa init ng araw. Sige na.” (It isn’t much. Don’t worry about me. It must have because of the sun’s heat. Go ahead.) Pepito is too worried to leave Anselmo behind. He ended up seeing Anselmo’s next migraine attack at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Anselmo?” That’s when Anselmo had to ask Pepito for help. “Meron ka bang tubig diyan, insan?” (Do you have some water, cousin?) Anselmo found it hard to stand up. He even collapsed as he forced to get up from his bench. Pepito didn’t know what to do.

Lola Nidora paused at the thought of Anselmo in pain. Donya Tinidora wanted to know more. “Ate, bakit hinto mo yung kwento?” (Why did you stop the story?) Before Donya Tinidora gets a little too persistent. Lola Nidora kept on reading at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Mahirap para kay Mama na tanggapin ang mga nangyari. Sinubukan niyang ayusin ito sa paraang alam niya.” (It’s hard for Mama to accept what happened. She tried to fix it the way she knew how.)

Donya Ariana was then shown at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode talking on the phone. “Hindi ako makapapayag na matupad ang anumang plano ng hampaslupang yun sa aking anak. Malaking kahihiyan ito sa aming pamilya. Marami akong plano kay Nidora. At hindi ang Anselmong yan ang sisira sa mga pangarap ko para sa aking mga anak. Bukas na bukas, hanapin mo ang Anselmong yan. Matitikman niya ang isang tunay na Ariana Miley Zobeyala. Magpapantay muna ang aking mga paa bago siya magwagi. Malalagutan muna ako ng hininga.”

(I will never allow any plan of that scoundrel to be realized on my child. It is a big embarrassment to our family. I have a lot of plans for Nidora. And that Anselmo will not ruin my dreams for my child. Tomorrow, find that Anselmo. He will incur the wrath of The Ariana Miley Zobeyala. I will leave this world first before he wins. I have to die first.) The manhunt for Anselmo resumed at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode.

Lola Nidora mentioned the plans she made at that time too. “Lingid sa kaalaman ni Mama, meron din akong sariling plano.” (Unbeknownst to Mama, I have my own plan.) It was a plan that scared Beyonce. “Nidora, are you sure you want to escape? It’s bad to your condition.” Nidora was left with no choice at the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode. “Kilala ko ang Mama. Hindi siya titigil hangga’t di niya nakukuha ang gusto niya. Kelangan ko itong gawin.” (I know Mama. She will not stop until she doesn’t get what she wants.)

Beyonce’s concern was Donya Ariana’s wrath. “If your Mama will know this, she will be beast mode again.” Nidora refuses to back down. “Kelangan ko kasing gawin ito eh. Mahal ko si Anselmo. Kailangan ko siyang makapiling para sa pamilya namin. Mahal ko rin naman ang Mama. Pero sa pagkakataong ito, kelangan ko rin mahalin ang sarili ko. Pakisabi na lang sa Mama na mahal na mahal ko siya ha? Sana mapatawad niya ako sa gagawin ko.” (I need to do this. I love Anselmo. I need to be with him for our family. I love Mama too. But this time, I need to love myself. Please tell Mama that I love her, okay? May she forgive me for what I am about to do.)

Nidora hasn’t gone far when Donya Ariana spotted her. She immediately ordered Beyonce. “Beyonce, saan pupunta yun? Habulin mo!” (Where is she going? Go after her!) Beyonce helped Nidora instead. “Nidora, run!” Donya Ariana can’t get to Nidora in time because of Beyonce. “Ano ba? Wag mo kong harangan!” (Don’t block my way!) Beyonce tried to reason with her mistress. “Set her free! Set her free!” A crashing sound was heard as Beyonce stopped Donya Ariana. Donya Ariana could only scream. “Nidora!” The truck horn honked off, ending the ALDUB Boojie Wonderland episode to a cliffhanger.
