And she voiced it out to her grand-aunt. “Itutuloy pa ba natin ito, Lola?” (Are we going to push through with this, granny?) Donya Tidora found it amusing for Divina to get nervous at this point.“Yang pagkakakulot ng buhok mo, kinabahan ka pa ha?” (To think that you have already curled your hair is when you get nervous?) Divina insisted on her unstable nerves. “Hindi po ako prepared eh.” (I am so not prepared.) Donya Tidora dismissed it to calm her down. “Hayaan mo na. Kaya mo yan. Basta tandaan mo mga tinuro namin sa yo.” (Never mind. You can do it. As long as you remember what we have taught you.)
Divina then started asking for her grannies. “Asan na nga po pala sina Lola?” (Where are the grannies?) Donya Tidora could only complain about the absences of Lola Nidora and Donya Tinidora. “Yung dalawa, naku.” (Oh! Those two!) Bossing Vic had a little speculation at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Baka naghahanap din ng pageant.” (They might be looking for a pageant too.) Who knows if there would be another pageant for them to join and win cash too?
Divina then practiced her smile in front of the mirror. Despite the Fall of the House of De Explorer. Donya Tidora kept a decent makeup kit. The mirror may not be full-length. But it was enough to help Divina view her smile. She asked Donya Tidora for some advice at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Dapat po may ngipin. Ano po mas maganda? Yung wala po o meron?” (I should smile with the teeth showing. Which looked better? With teeth or without teeth?) Donya Tidora checked first before picking a look for Divina. “Patingin … O yung may ngipin. Hindi. Yung ngipin sa ibaba. Ayan! Mas maganda yung 3-teeth. Yung tinuro ni Tinidora.” (Let me see …. Try smiling with teeth. No. Show your lower teeth. There you go. Tinidora’s 3-teeth smiling style looked better though.)
Divina then practiced the 3-teeth smile at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Nangangatog po ba dapat?” (Should it tremble?) Donya Tinidora can smile exposing only 3 teeth with quivering lips. Divina somewhat captured the look. But Donya Tidora wanted to be sure. “O sige. Mag-practice ka lang.” (Okay. Just go ahead and practice.) Donya Tidora continued on retouching Divina’s makeup. The camera then zoomed out from where they sat to show Lola Nidora and Donya Tinidora waiting by the balcony.
Donya Tinidora was trying to pacify Lola Nidora at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Ano ka ba naman, ate? Ang ganda-ganda na nga ng apo mo tapos ganyan ang mukha mo.” (What is with you? Your grand-niece is so beautiful and your face looks awful.) Lola Nidora justified her forlorn stance. “Ano ka ba naman? Nag-aalala lang ako kay Divina. Dapat yata hindi ko na lang siya pinayagan.” (What is with you? I am just worried for Divina. I shouldn’t have allowed her.) Donya Tinidora found Lola Nidora’s nerves grating on her own nerves. “Ikaw naman, ate. Para kang ano diyan. Alam mong ginagawa lahat ni Divina ito para sa yo. Nag-practice na ngang mabuti yung bata.” (Oh please, elder sister. As if you’re someone else. You know that Divina is doing all of this for you. The kid practiced rigorously.)
Lola Nidora justified her frantic silence. “Eh kaya nga ako ninenerbyos eh. Ganyan na ganyan siya nung sumali sa Little Miss Philippines. Isang buwan kaming nag-rehearse. Nag-practice. Nung dumating sa audition, hindi nagsalita. ‘What is your name’ lang, hindi nagsalita. Hindi na sumagot. Eh papano kung mangyari ulit yun?” (That’s why I’m nervous. That was exactly how she was when she joined Little Miss Philippines. We rehearsed for a month. We practiced. The moment we arrived on audition day, she can’t speak. She can’t even answer a question as simple as ‘What is your name?’ She can’t reply. What if it happens again?) Donya Tinidora just diverted the topic at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Yung high blood mo. Tumataas na naman niyan eh.” (Your high blood is shooting up again.)
Lola Nidora was bent on not coming with them to the pageant. “Kayo na lang ni Tidora ang sumama dun sa contest. Hindi ko yata kakayanin. Baka dun pa ko atakihin eh.” (You of Tidora should go with her to the contest. I might not take it. I might fall into a seizure there itself.) Donya Tinidora tried again to convince Lola Nidora at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Ate naman. Hahanapin ka ni Yaya. Alam mo namang sa yo humuhugot ng lakas ng loob yung bata. Masyado ka kasing nega. Ikaw na lang ang ganyan. Lagi ka na lang natatakot. Lagi ka na lang kinakabahan. Puro ka nerbyos. Sapakin kita diyan eh.” (Elder sister, please. Nanny would be looking for you. You know that she gets her confidence from you. You’re such a negative thinker. You’re the only one here who’s negative. You’re always afraid. You’re always panicky. You’re nothing but a bag of nerves. I’m gonna smack you.)
Lola Nidora found Donya Tinidora’s sermon a little painful. “Ako lang? Ako lang?” (So it’s just me all along?) Donya Tinidora shoved the point further. “Oo. Puro kayo nerbyoso.” (Yes. You’re all frantic!) Lola Nidora believed that she is not the only person in the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode who’s shaking inside.“Tingnan ko lang kundi rin kayo nininerbyos.” (Let me see if you’re not nervous too.) Donya Tinidora then called out Donya Tidora. “Tidora, halika nga.” (Tidora, come over here.)
Donya Tidora came running to her sisters. She almost fell due to overflowing tension. She found herself begging Lola Nidora for strength. “Ate, ninenerbyos ako!” (Elder sister, I feel tense!) Lola Nidora reiterated what everyone else already knew at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Ako rin! Kanina pa!” (Me too! Since awhile ago!) Donya Tidora didn’t show this side of her to Divina. Just to her sisters since they would understand. “Kinakabahan ako, ate! Natatakot ako para kay Yaya!” (I feel edgy, elder sister! I am worried for nanny!)
Lola Nidora then shoved this edgy feeling to Donya Tinidora. “O di ba? Ako lang ang takot di ba? Ako lang?” (See? I’m the only one who’s scared, right? Just me?) Donya Tidora let go of the strong facade. Divina is too preoccupied retouching her makeup. Donya Tidora continued in this part of the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Sa buong buhay ko, ate, ngayon ko lang naramdaman ang ganito. Excited ako. Pero parang natatakot ako para kay Yaya.” (In my whole life, I’ve never felt like this. I’m excited. But I’m anxious for nanny.)
Lola Nidora then had an idea at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Alam mo, kinakabahan ka rin? Kinakabahan din ako. I-cancel na natin ito.” (You know what? You’re nervous? I’m nervous too. Let’s cancel this.) Donya Tinidora protested. “Ano ba naman kayo? Anong cancel? Mga nerbyosa! Mga takot! Puro kayo ganyan! Puro kayo takot! Anong mangyayari dun sa bata?” (What is with you? What cancel? You frantic wretches! You’re always like that! You’re all worried! What will happen to the kid?)
As the sisters bickered among themselves. Alden was shown on the other monitor pacing in his den. He’s nervous too. “Lola, hello po.” (Granny, hello.) The Kalye’s Angels then ended up looking like bobbleheads on a dashboard when they greeted him back. “Hello.” As of the ALDUB 26th Weeksary. Alden is no longer a contender in the beauty pageant circuit. But he’s just as frantic. “Hindi ko po maipaliwanag. Pati po ako ninenerbyos eh.” (I can’t explain it. I feel nervous too.)
Lola Nidora acknowledged Alden’s presence at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Alden, nandyan ka pala.” (Alden, so you’re there.) Alden greeted her in reply. “Hello, Lola.” Donya Tinidora commented on how they looked at the monitor. “Para tayong mga puppet.” (We look like puppets.) Lola Nidora complained after seeing the monitor. “Bakit kayo, kita? Ako hindi.” (How come you are seen? Not me.) Donya Tidora told her what she did wrong. “Pano kasi, umupo ka pa.” (Well, you sat down.)
Alden cut to the chase. “Lola, kamusta na po si Yaya?” (Granny, how is nanny doing?) Lola Nidora still didn’t know. “Hindi ko alam. Kinakabahan ako. Di ko na nga tinitingnan eh.” (I don’t know. I’m anxious. I haven’t even checked her.) Alden felt nervous too. “Ako rin po eh.” (Me too.) Lola Nidora found kindred spirits in her tense mood at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Apat na tayong kinakabahan. Wag na nating ituloy ito.” (There are already four of us nervous. Let’s not push throught with this.) Donya Tinidora excluded herself from the anxious folks. “Tatlo lang kayo. Anong apat? Wag nyo kong isali. Mga nerbyoso kayo!” (You’re just three. What four? Count me out. You bag of nerves!)
Alden tried to justify the anxiety in the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Siempre. Gusto naman natin si Yaya yung manalo. E siguro kaya ganito ang nararamdaman natin #IFeelThePressure.” (Of course. We only wanted nanny to win. The main reason perhaps is [hashtag] #IFeelThePressure.) Donya Tinidora ended up scolding Alden too. “Naku, wag kayong ganyan, Alden, ha? Lakasan nyo ang loob nyo. Naku, eto ngang si Yaya. Lahat ng ginagawa niya, ganyan kayo eh. Puro kayo kaba. Kayo lang yung mga kabado.” (Don’t do that, okay? Be strong. Here is nanny. She is doing everything and you act that way. You’re the only ones who’s frantic.) Lola Nidora found Donya Tinidora a little annoying at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Ah kami lang ang ganito? E di kami lang.” (So we’re the only ones who feel this way? So be it.)
Donya Tinidora had to remind them again of Divina’s efforts at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Kayo lang ang inaasahan ng bata tapos kinakabahan pa kayo?” (You’re the only ones she’s counting on and you’re all anxious?) Lola Nidora’s next suggestion didn’t help either. “Alam mo, gapangin ko na kaya yung mga judges?” (What is I just talk it over with the judges?)
Donya Tinidora only stopped Lola Nidora fro realizing her plan. “Wag nyong gawin yan. Kaya ni Yaya yan. Tayo ang inaasahan ni Yaya.” (Don’t do that. Nanny can handle this. We are the only ones that she’s counting on this time.) Donya Tidora agreed. But she managed to justify the anxiety on her part in the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Siguro nga. Pero excited lang kami. Kaya kami kinakabahan para sa kanya.” (Maybe we are. But we’re just excited. That’s why we’re nervous for her.)
Alden tried to calm down the bickering grannies. “Kasi kahit ano naman po ang mangyari, andito naman po tayo para suportahan siya. Relax na po tayo.” (No matter what happens, we are here to support her. Let’s all relax.) Donya Tinidora agreed. “Yun naman pala eh. Smile na tayong lahat. Dapat ganyan tayo. Nakangiti tayo. Dapat malakas ang loob natin. Hindi yung kinakabahan tayo.” (So there. Let’s all smile now. We should be doing this. We should smile. We should be strong. Not nervous.) Everyone tried to be calm at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. Still Lola Nidora can’t bring herself to go to the pageant.
Donya Tinidora asked Lola Nidora again. “Ano, ate? Sasali ka na ba sa competition?” (Are you coming with us to the competition.) Lola Nidora replied. “Hindi pa rin.” (Still not.) Donya Tidora now is confused. “Akala ko, susuportahan natin si Yaya?” (I thought we’d be supporting nanny.) Lola Nidora’s support at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary is guaranteed though. “Susuportahan ko siya. Pero hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ko. Baka dun pa ko atakihin. Magkagulo. Mawala sa concentration yang si Divina. Dito na lang ako. Ayoko ng ganun. Pinaghandaan pa naman niya. Basta ikwento nyo na lang sa akin anong mangyayari dun ha?” (I will support her. But I am not feeling well. I might get into panic attacks there. There might be a commotion. Divina might lose her concentration. I will just stay here. I don’t want any trouble. She prepared for this. Just tell me what will happen there, alright?)
Alden reminded Lola Nidora. “Lola, dapat andun kayo.” (Granny, you should be there.) Bossing Vic himself can’t help but agree with the folks pushing Lola Nidora. “Baka mawalan ng inspiration yung bata.” (The kid might lose inspiration.) Donya Tinidora agreed with Bossing Vic at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Yun nga. Para sa kanya yung ginagawa ni Yaya, bossing. Saka kung puede bang mag-request Puede yung ilaw, ilayo nyo nang konti. Ang init naman. Dun ako kinakabahan eh.” (That’s the point, bossing. What nanny is trying to do is for her. I just have one request. Can you please turn that light further away from me? It’s so hot. That’s what I am anxious about.) Donya Tinidora feared that she might burn her face at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode.
Donya Tidora checked back at Divina. “Yaya, tapos ka ba na magbihis?” (Nanny, are you done getting dressed?) Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB answered behind the door. “Lola, natatakot po ako at saka ninenerbyos. Baka di ko po kayanin.” (Granny, I’m scared and nervous. I might not take it.) Alden assured Divina that he’s only close by at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Kakayanin mo lahat. Andito lang naman ako eh. Kaya mo yan. Tama na yung kaba.” (You will endure everything. I am only here. You can handle this. Enough with the nerves.)
Donya Tinidora was skeptical of Alden’s claim. “Andyan ka na naman. Tapos aalis ka na naman? Kaya kinakabahan si Yaya. Baka umalis ka na naman.” (You’re there. Then you’re leaving again? No wonder nanny is nervous. You might go again.) Alden’s out-of-town trips have become a source os insider joke at the KalyeSerye like the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. Alden replied to Donya Tinidora. “Di na po ako aalis, lola.” (I’m no longer leaving, granny.) Donya Tinidora in turn, scolded Lola Nidora. “Tingnan mo. Pati si Alden, nahahawa sa yo.” (Look at Alden. He’s becoming nervous too because of you.)
Lola Nidora took on taking Divina to the pageant venue. “Kinakalma ko na nga ang sarili ko. Sige na. Hindi na ko magnenega. Mag-uusap na lang kami ni Yaya. Ako na lang maghaatid kay Yaya sa covered court. Mamigay na lang muna kayo ng papremyo dito sa barangay. Tapos susunod na lang kami.” (I’m just trying to calm myself. Go ahead. I won’t be thinking negative anymore. We’d talk of nanny about this. I’d take nanny to the covered court. You, in turn, distribute prizes in the barangay.) Donya Tidora and Donya Tinidora then went to the Sugod Bahay errand for the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode.
In the middle of the Sugod Bahay errand. Divina was shown at the other monitor dancing for the talent portion. Once the Sugod Bahay errand is done at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. Donya Tidora and Donya Tinidora arrived at the venue in time for the announcement of the Magic 3. They felt a little more confident that Divina would win this upon seeing Barbara Sastre (huh?) as the pageant host.
Donya Tinidora cheered with Donya Tidora for Divina. “Larga! Larga!” Donya Tidora then realized what the hell had Donya Tinidora been cheering for. “Ano ba? Ginawa mong sabong!” (What the heck! This is not a cockfight derby!) Barbara Sastre called the pageant for a break for the sake of score tabulation at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. Donya Tinidora is confident that Divina will win this. “Kaya natin yan. Hindi sila nagkulot.” (We can win this. They didn’t curl their hair.)
Divina then went down the stage to talk to her grannies. “Lola, parang wala po akong sinabi.” (Granny, I have nothing to say.) Donya Tinidora downplayed Divina’s tension. “Ano ka ba? Wala pa namang tinatanong sa ‘yo.” (What are you talking about? They haven’t asked you anything yet.) Divina then informed her of what transpired while they were away. “Tapos na po yung question and answer portion.” (The Q&A is done while you were away.) The grannies felt bad at missing this part in the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode.
Donya Tinidora then asked her. “Ano ba tinanong sa yo?” (What did they ask you?) Divina replied. “Kung ano pong pangalan ko.” (They asked for my name.) Donya Tinidora pressed further. “Anong sinabi mo?” (What did you say?) Divina informed them. “Wala po.” (Nothing.) Donya Tinidora suppressed her anger. “Hindi ka sumagot?” (You didn’t reply?) Divina had to admit how badly nervous she got. “Kinabahan po ako, lola.” (I got nervous, granny.) Donya Tinidora found it unacceptable at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Pangalan lang. Kinabahan ka pa.” (They were just asking for your name. And you got nervous.) Divina then revealed. ”May stage fright po kasi ako eh.” (I have stage fright.)
Donya Tidora then thought that the pageant should have been done elsewhere. “Dapat ginawa na lang natin ito sa kalsada.” (We should have done this on the street instead.) It was the KalyeSerye after all. [Kalye means “street”. Serye means “series”.] But Divina had some optimism left at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. ”Pero feeling ko po, sa rampa po, me laban po tayo. Saka sa buhok at saka sa pitik.” (But I can feel that when it comes to the catwalk, we have an advantage. From the hair to the head toss.) Donya Tinidora just reminded Divina to tone down the head toss. “Baka mauntog ka naman niyan kakapitik mo diyan.” (You might bump your head with tossing it too much.)
Bossing Vic then asked for Lola Nidora. Divina spoke in behalf of Lola Nidora at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary. “Nasa bahay po. Kasi kinakabahan daw po siya. Baka po atakihin kapag andito. Nagpaiwan na daw po. Pero kasi naiintindihan ko naman po. May moral support naman po siya sa akin.” (She’s at home. She said that she’s nervous. She might get into a panic attack. So she asked to be left at home. But I understand her. She sent some moral support for me.)
Donya Tinidora then asked. “Naka-telecast ba itong pageant? Sabihin mo, wag siyang manood. Baka atakihin.” (Is this pageant telecast live? Tell her not to watch. She might get a panic attack.) Donya Tidora then noticed Divina looking around again. “Ano ba yang hinahanap mo?” (What are you looking for?) She was looking for Alden. Alden appeared on the other monitor again DUBsmashing “When I See You Smile”. Divina DUBsmashed back with Regine’s song “Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka”.
Alden expressed his thoughts at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode upon seeing Divina. “Alam mo grabe ka. Pag ganyan kasi ayos mo, parang pinapahirapan mo ako eh.” (You’re too much. Whenever you looked like that, you’re making it hard for me.) Divina asked why. Alden replied. “Pinapahirapan mo akong hindi tumitig sa yo.” (You’re making it hard for me not to stare at you.) Divina then asked Alden. “Gusto mo araw araw akong ganito?” (You want me to look like this everyday?) Alden found Divina beautiful just the same. “Actually, araw-araw naman eh. You’re beautiful in my eyes. Galing mo. Kanina pa ko nanonood ha?” (You are beautiful everyday. You’re great. Been watching you since awhile ago.)
Divina felt delighted upon learning this at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. “Talaga ba? Ano masasabi mo?” (Really? What can you say about it?) Alden gave his feedback at what he saw at the pageant. “Ibang-iba ka. Congratulations.” (You were unique.) Divina then asked about her dance. “Nakita mo yung sa talent portion? Yung sumayaw ako?” (Did you see the talent portion? The part where I danced?) Donya Tinidora’s sarcasm attacked again. “Kinakabahan ka niyan ha?” (You’re nervous, huh?)
Alden gave his feedback. “Tapos yung lakad mo? Alam mo yan oh.” (Well your walk? You know how to strut it.) Divina then walked to show off the strut that Alden liked at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. Donya Tinidora went back to her reminder though. “Konti lang, hija. Meow. Meow. Meow.” (Not too hard [on the head toss].) The meowing is how Donya Tinidora is reminded of cat bobbleheads with Divina’s head toss. But still, Divina is not appeased. “Alden, okay ba ko?” (Alden, do I look okay?) Alden then assured Divina that she looks great. “Well, actually, bago i-announce ang winner, may ia-announce pala ako. Para sa ‘kin, ikaw ang winner.” (Before the winner gets announced, I have my own announcement. For me, you’re the winner.)
Alden then brought out the bouquet that he could have sent to Divina. But the riding-in-tandem is seen nowhere at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary. So no idea if ever it gets delivered to Divina in time. It let to a decent DUBsmash exchange between Alden and Divina. Alden then waited for the DUBsmash exchange to finish before talking again. “Di ba sa mga contest, mahilig tayo magsabi ng good luck. Eto good luck ko.” (Isn’t it that we like saying good luck when it comes to contests? Here’s my good luck.) Alden then kissed Divina on the monitor.
Divina reminded Alden. “Baka nanonood si Lola.” (Granny might be watching.) Alden then apologized despite Lola Nidora’s absence. Later, Alden then proceeded to promise to Divina. “Kahit anong mangyari, andito ako para sa yo. Di man tayo magkasama ngayon, maramdaman mong special ka sa kin.” (Whatever happens, I’m here for you. We may not be together now, but you may feel that you’re special to me.) Alden and Divina then greeted each other a Happy Weeksary. [Apparently at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. The DUBsmash exchange is back.]
They then greeted the ALDUB Nation a Happy Weeksary too. Divina mentioned how far this relationship can still go. “Malayo pa ang lalakbayin natin.” (We still have a long way to go.) Alden agreed. “Malayo pa. Simula pa lang ito.” (It’s still far ahead. We’ve only just begun.) Barbara Sastre arrived in time before Divina gets carried away with the flying kisses at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary. Donya Tinidora then cracked under pressure.
Bossing Vic then tried to boost Divina’s hopes up. “Manalo matalo, taya ulit.” (Win or lose, bet again.) Boss Joey seconded the motion. “Mabuhay ang jueteng!” (Long live jueteng!) [The winner at the Sugod-Bahay errand had a Freudian slip and revealed her job as a jueteng bet collector. Jueteng is a numbers game still declared as illegal in the Philippines. Having Philippine Senator Tito present at the KalyeSerye commentary panel just made the situation a little worse for the poor winner.]
In case you see the twist coming at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode. Barbara Sastre made it possible. Bossing Vic’s comment on the pageant’s production value definitely doesn’t help. “Anong klaseng pageant yan? Iisa ang tao.” (What kind of a pageant is this? You have an audience of one.) Donya Tidora mentioned the obvious. “Kami rin ang nag-award.” (We gave the awards too.) Bossing Vic asked further. “May mga judge ba diyan?” (Do you even have judges?) Paolo didn’t break character though as Donya Tidora. “Kami rin.” (Us too.)
Cash prize for the first runner up is at Php3000 awarded by Donya Tinidora. Cash prize for the winner is at Php5000. Enough money to buy medicine. Barbara Sastre even raised the envelope for the viewers of the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode to see. There was someone dressed in a tux on standby though. And … Divina did not win. It stunned everyone else. But not as much as Divina did. Divina was visibly hurt. But she congratulated the winner anyway.
Bossing Vic reminded Divina. “Manalo matalo. Smile. Kahit pilit.” (Win or lose. Force a smile.) Donya Tinidora tried to comfort Divina too. “Okay lang yan, hija. At least nakatulong ka sa lola mo.” (It’s okay, dear. You helped your granny anyway.) Bossing Vic had to comment about the loss though at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary. “Kayo kayo na lang ang nag-award, first runner up pa?” (It’s just awarding among yourselves and she got first runner up?) Donya Tinidora even had the gall to say to the winner’s face. “Eto. Dinaan lang sa puti nito.” (Her. She just won due to her fair skin.)
A beaming voice then spoke from behind. “Excuse me.” Almost everyone fell off their seats while watching the ALDUB 26th Weeksary. Divina was so excited at seeing the Steve Harvey doppleganger. “Lola, napanood ko na ito.” (Granny, I already saw it.) Unfortunately, he only repeated what Barbara Sastre read. No mistake occurred except that of the Steve Harvey doppleganger. “Don’t take it against the ladies. It’s my mistake.” Senator Tito was half-livid, half-laughing. “Pinaasa mo pa kami.” (You made us expect.)
Divina was confused. Donya Tinidora then explained the situation to her grand-niece. “Galing pa ng Las Vegas yan. Pumunta siya rito para magkamali siya.” (He came all the way from Las Vegas. He came over just to commit a mistake.) The doppleganger went closer to the camera. It only annoyed Donya Tinidora further. “Alisin nyo nga yung kalbo diyan. Baka magulpi ko pa yan.” (Get that bald man away [from the camera]. I might get him beat up.) The bald guy spoke further. “I’m sorry. I feel badly.” [Nice parody done at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary.]
Donya Tinidora consoled Divina. “Yung tulong na ginawa mo? Yung effort na ginawa mo para sa lola mo? Malaking bagay yun.” (The help you contributed? The effort you exerted for your granny? That’s a big thing.) Donya Tinidora asked Divina to smile even just for Alden. Alden then agreed with Donya Tinidora. “Marami ka nang nasalihang contest. Pero sa lahat ng contest, isa yung winner na winner ka. Sa contest sa puso ko. Wag ka nang malungkot. Smile ka na.” (You have joined several contests already. But among all of the contests that you have joined, you are a sure winner in one. The contest to my heart. Don’t be sad. Smile now.)
Divina’s concern is Lola Nidora’s medicine since Php5000 is the cash prize. “Sana po sapat na yun para pambili ng gamot ni Lola.” (I hope it’s enough money [Php3000] to buy medicine for granny.) Donya Tinidora confirmed that it’s enough though. “Sobra sobra na yun.” (It’s actually too much.) She then prodded Steve Harvey’s doppelganger to stay to explain to Lola Nidora himself what happened at the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode’s pageant.

As of the ALDUB 26th Weeksary episode, ratings are still decent. But for how long? It’s a comedy segment after all.
