The ALDUB You Lola episode opens with YayaDUB entering the vicinity. She rode a pink bicycle on her own. The Rogelio 3 are just right behind her. One of them held an umbrella above her head. A few minutes later, it became obvious that YayaDUB is on her own. Eat Bulaga Dabarkads Paolo Ballesteros then asked her where Lola Nidora is.
YayaDUB insinuated that Lola Nidora is not feeling well. She left her employer at home. Through some Dubsmash bits she insinuated that Lola Nidora is with the doctors. Paolo served as the interpreter between YayaDUB and the main hosts at the studio. As questions are thrown YayaDUB’s way, Lola Nidora’s white car arrives on the scene? How sick is Lola Nidora as presented in the ALDUB You Lola episode?
Someone came out of the white car. Someone, as seen here in the ALDUB You Lola episode, who’s not Lola Nidora. She strutted around the street to the tune of Fifth Harmony’s “I’m Worth It”. Later she introduced herself as Duhrizz. In order not to be mistaken for TV reporter Doris Bigornia. She spelled out her name as D-U-H-R-I-Z-Z. Duh for short. She introduced herself as Lola Nidora’s granddaughter from New York. That’s interesting. She has this Valley Girl accent. A poorly executed Valley Girl’s accent. (And she’s more like someone rejected in the Bronx)
And she came just to make YayaDUB feel her animosity towards her. So there’s new villain that entered the ALDUB You Lola episode. She asked YayaDUB right off the bat why is she here. Lola Nidora is sick at home and here she is waiting for someone. She made YayaDUB feel guilty about the pain and sickness Lola Nidora is currently going through. YayaDUB tried to ignore her the same way she tried to ignore Lola Nidora in the past. Her neck is getting longer as she awaited for Alden to show up. YayaDUB even clutched to her Minnie Mouse plushie. She looked like she’s about to cry.
Finally, Alden showed up. And he’s starting to catch up to the colorful facial expressions that YayaDUB can sport on TV. While he’s elated to see YayaDUB. Alden’s delight shifts to disgust at the sight of Duh. Duh immediately liked Alden. Being the “liberated” girl that she is. Duh tried to seduce Alden in a way she knew how. She stuck out her tongue. It produced the reverse effect though. Alden almost puked his guts out. He almost passed out himself. Now he knew how YayaDUB must have felt like at the thought of getting married to Frankie.
Alden was handed a glass of water to compose himself. This time, Duh made Alden feel guilty about Lola Nidora getting sick. So Lola Nidora’s condition has worsened. Is Alden happy now? Alden shook his head. Later he pulled out the sign saying ALDUB You Lola. He is doing what he can to win Lola Nidora’s affections too. If only the latter was not blinded with biased hate. Bias against Alden and bias in favor of Frankie.
Duh really liked Alden. She wanted to meet him in person. Much to Alden’s dismay. He was even waving his hand to shoo Duh away. YayaDUB is just as disgusted. It doesn’t show much if she’s worried that Duh has found a new reason to hate her. She’s fixated on
Alden. In the ALDUB You Lola episode, Alden is just as fixated as YayaDUB. They took advantage of the instances where Duh didn’t block the monitors. They exchanged sweet messages written on the signboards. Since it’s still unclear when would ALDUB finally meet for real. ALDUB took advantage of the time allotted to post love messages through the monitor. Duh is visibly annoyed.
Since Duh can’t get Alden’s attention, she just focused on YayaDUB instead. Being Lola Nidora’s granddaughter, she also had those “Babala/Babalu” moments. She relayed to YayaDUB how Lola Nidora only breathes three times a day. She could not get a decent conversation with her grandmother because her responses are limited to “Ah”. She doesn’t know if they are the closest thing she can come to a reply. Or that she’s just trying to breathe. It seemed like nothing can faze her. So she pulled up her trump card. A white envelope containing a letter. YayaDUB opened a letter. And the ALDUB You Lola episode goes into cliffhanger mode.
What did the letter contain? What lies ahead now that Duh seemed like she’s staying for the long run? Well, maybe not that long. It would be a far-fetched idea to see Duh and Lola Nidora in the same scene as this KalyeSerye is live. And often executed in improv mode.
