#ALDUBisforReal The ALDUB is for Real Episode is shot on location at Bataan. A clear sign that no matter how far the location the Juan for All All for Juan segment could reach. There is no stopping the ALDUB euphoria. Also it took almost 24 hours and a really remote location for the Lola Nidora to regain her strength to continue with her verbal last will and testament.
Lola Nidora arrived with her entourage including the paramedic and the funeral homes’ representative. The ALDUB is for Real Episode highlighted the weak health that Lola Nidora had fallen into. She had to whisper her messages to YayaDUB for YayaDUB to interpret. YayaDUB would relay the messages in DUBSmash speak for resident dabarkads Paolo Ballesteros to interpret. The interpretations would often leave the hosts at Broadway Centrum half-amazed and half-amused.
After getting everyone bonkers about the interpretations. The riding in tandem arrived anew. They delivered 2 boxes to YayaDUB. The person carrying them personally handed over the boxes to YayaDUB. YayaDUB happily opened one and saw the sticks of isaw (grilled chicken intestines). They were the sticks of isaw that Alden promised to her on the ALDUB not ALDUH episode. The isaw party commenced on the ALDUB is for Real Episode. YayaDUB proudly showed the green box’s contents on camera.
Out of nowhere in this ALDUB is for Real Episode, Lola Nidora stood up and chased the riding in tandem before the guy could reignite the engine. Lola Nidora found the energy to talk and run to them. She even grabbed the driver but too weak to push him out of the motorcycle. She even tried to pressure him with the dextrose bottle as if it’s some deadly weapon. She mentioned the diary again. It is not clear what do these men have to do with the diary. They are more of Alden’s delivery men. The closest access Alden has to YayaDUB. Alden is barred from seeing YayaDUB in person. But his gifts managed to reach her through the riding in tandem. So it’s still everyone’s guess. What do these men have to do with Lola Nidora’s diary? Could one of them be the blackmailer that called Lola Nidora before? (Looking back, Alden could use that to his advantage. But let’s leave that angle to the writers)
The Rogelios and the paramedic can’t stop Lola Nidora. They can’t let her be strangled with her own oxygen tube either. Or let the dextrose get detached. One of the Rogelios managed to carry Lola Nidora back to her wheelchair before she forgets that she’s sick. Being the ungrateful wrench that she is, she blamed the Rogelios for not catching up to the riding in tandem. She blamed them for having shades. Lola Nidora turned to YayaDUB for her daily dose of “chewy-bles”. Here in the ALDUB is for Real Episode, Lola Nidora occasionally forgets she is sick.
The signal from Bataan seemed choppy at some parts. But it did not stop YayaDUB from getting into isaw party mode. She then started looking for Alden. She loved the isaw. But it would still be different if she saw the man who sent them. Alden then shows up. He’s having isaw himself. Isaw and a couple of goblets of water. Unlike before, YayaDUB is no longer upset at the sight of Alden having lunch in fine dining style. Even if Alden is not staring straight to the camera. Alden is shown as being attentive and sweet to someone allegedly sitting across the table.
YayaDUB enjoyed the sticks of isaw so much in the ALDUB is for Real Episode. She must have forgotten to swallow them. She’s basically stuffing her face with the grilled isaw. (No sauce?) One of the Rogelios even held the box. YayaDUB would go back to it after finishing a stick of isaw. She was all giddy, happy and hyper like a kid discovering gifts on the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Alden’s camera then shifted across the table. It showed a picture of Lola Nidora sticking out her tongue. Since Alden doesn’t get the opportunity to be nice to Lola Nidora in person. It’s the best thing he could do to invite Lola Nidora over for the isaw party. Just when YayaDUB’s face is about to change expressions. It went from startled to happy again. She approached Lola Nidora to show the kind of sweetness Alden is showing her picture.
Lola Nidora could not suppress her smile here in the ALDUB is for Real episode. Alden then showed a sign saying “Pagaling po kayo, Lola!” (Get well, Lola!) Lola Nidora found the gestures nice. She said “Maganda ginagawa nyo. Lalo nyo kong pinapatay.” (You’re doing it nice. You kill me even more.) Sick and close to death (maybe). Lola Nidora still interpreted Alden’s efforts negatively. She then clutched to one of the Rogelios to support the way she stood. Then she chastised Alden for the affections that came too late. Alden came too late. Too late that it can never change her health anymore. It was not the reaction that YayaDUB was expecting. Alden acknowledged his mistake and simply replied “Sorry po! ALDUB You!” (I’m sorry. ALDUB You) Lola Nidora is unfazed. She signaled the Rogelios to catch her as she felt like passing out.
As the Rogelios and the paramedic assisted Lola Nidora back on her wheelchair. Alden shifted back to YayaDUB. “Masarap ba isaw, Yaya?” (Does the isaw taste good, Yaya?) YayaDUB replied with “Super”. Alden said “Wag pagutom ha?” (Don’t let yourself go hungry). Vic Sotto commented how could YayaDUB go hungry when she already had 4 sticks of grilled isaw. Alden then posted “MAINEnamahal kita!” (Rephrased: I love you). The ALDUB is for Real episode showed how the word ALDUB has been infused into how Alden and YayaDUB expressed their love for each other.
Lola Nidora’s condition continued to worsen. It prompted YayaDUB back to reality. She picked up the Lola Nidora’s phone to immediately call the doctor. His name was shown on the ALDUB not ALDUH episode as Dr. Tan-Ning. A car horn was then heard. That’s when the audience saw Dr. Tan-Ning (A character that was not an alter ego of neither Wally Bayola nor Jose Manalo) He immediately approached Lola Nidora to check her pulse. (It was the first time perhaps that a character was introduced without any “quick change” on either part of Wally or Jose. Could it only be on the ALDUB is for Real episode?)
Dr. Tan-Ning wasted no time in his diagnosis. Lola Nidora’s shelf life is only up until August 22, 2015 at 2:30 pm. Lola Nidora does not appreciate cutting to the chase. (Maybe because there was lack of acting talent on the part of Dr. Tan-Ning. Sorry.) Dr. Tan-Ning then immediately handed over the prescription drugs to YayaDUB. Emphasis on “handed”. And Dr Tan-Ning is a little touchy too. Something that Alden does not appreciate. Another third party? Viewers of the ALDUB is for Real episode would like to think not.
Alden sensed competition. It made him feel uneasy especially the parts where the doctor’s hand held YayaDUB’s hand. The camera even focused on it. YayaDUB is visibly giddy. Alden could only react from where he is. Do doctors really have to be this touchy? He is touching YayaDUB more than Lola Nidora. (Paolo is trying some moves on Dr. Tan-Ning too) He wasn’t so upset. But he was quick to get a doctor’s coat and snap YayaDUB’s attention back to him. YayaDUB then remembered that Alden is only right at the studio watching her. Alden went as far as getting a stethoscope to play doctor for YayaDUB. The ALDUB is for Real episode showed the lengths that Alden is willing to go through. He wanted to keep YayaDUB happy. And she is very happy.
Before Dr. Tan-Ning becomes another third party here in the ALDUB is for Real episode. Frankie arrives. He does not appreciate Dr. Tan-Ning’s touchy-feely kind of getting his job done. Unlike Alden though. Frankie was there to give Dr. Tan-Ning the proverbial slap on the wrist. In the middle of Alden and Frankie getting upset at how extra affectionate Dr. Tan-Ning is towards YayaDUB here in the ALDUB is for Real episode. Lola Nidora tried to speak.
Lola Nidora wanted the #YaKie wedding to push through before she dies. She assured YayaDUB that it will push through. She will wear a wedding gown that is not too tight. She will be fed well. She would even let the makeup artists use concealer on Frankie on the wedding day itself. Anything that would keep from YayaDUB from collapsing again.
Frankie was half-hurt, half-happy that the wedding will finally push through. Frankie was hurt because he is really not fond of concealers. Alden was hurt all over again. Lola Nidora even made YayaDUB to promise using the pabebe pinky swear. YayaDUB managed to respond to Lola Nidora’s pinky swear. She’s conflicted with her loyalty to Lola Nidora and her love to Alden. YayaDUB tries to run away. As YayaDUB tried to runaway from all of this conflict, Frankie stops her. And the ALDUB is for Real episode goes into cliffhanger mode.
Would the #YaKie wedding push through? Will Lola Nidora take her secrets to the grave? Will she live long enough to see her nanny, YayaDUB, finally married to her family friend, Frankie Arenolli?
