One of the founding fathers of Eat Bulaga, Joey de Leon, has announced that more than 2 million tweets were found on Twitter. The ALDUB nation is poised to break several records now that there is a hint. A hint that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza as YayaDUB may finally meet.
In the midst of the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode pandemonium. Lola Nidora pressured Alden to keep his promise of not seeing YayaDUB. Both Alden and YayaDUB are in the same building just a few steps between each other. The pressure is immense. Lola Nidora even tried to bribe Alden with some merienda. As if it would help. In the room where Lola Nidora took Alden, a monitor kept both of them aware of the performance that YayaDUB presented.
Why ALDUB Battle For A Cause? In this wildcard edition of Eat Bulaga’s “Bulaga Pa More, Dabarkads Pa More”. The ALDUB couple agreed to forfeit their prize money for the benefit of one winner in the sugod-bahay part of Eat Bulaga’s “Juan For All, All For One” segment. Fans would have a tough time judging between Alden and YayaDUB. It would split the fan base. Another unpleasant distraction for the ALDUB nation. But a convenient ploy for Lola Nidora to drive a competitive wedge between the two.
In case the competitive wedge is Lola Nidora’s ploy. It did not work. The battle that came out of the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode seemed like a battle between ALDUB and Lola Nidora. Surely, Lola Nidora is starting to soften up on Alden. (Who wouldn’t? No names) But knowing the history of lies that she has emitted in the past, it’s tough to trust her. Good thing for her, YayaDUB didn’t have trust issues like her.
As Alden tried to restrain himself from seeing YayaDUB. YayaDUB ran backstage to look for Alden. With Lola Nidora not around, Alden then changed his mind. He went onstage to look for YayaDUB. He found no one. YayaDUB was upset at not finding Alden backstage. Alden was disappointed and regretful at not finding YayaDUB onstage.
Clearly there was some hesitation on Alden’s part. He wanted to see YayaDUB. But he did not want to get on the bad side of Lola Nidora either. As much as she has a tendency to go far. She is still YayaDUB’s employer and de facto guardian. But the ALDUB couple has just celebrated their 7th weeksary. A couple that survived 7 weeks without ever meeting in person? It’s another piece of commentary presented in the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode. While most netizens would find such a relationship common. If a couple wanted to meet, they would find ways. Besides, it was evident that YayaDUB had wanted to meet Alden too.
YayaDUB was on the verge of quitting. She then stopped where she stood backstage. Contemplating her next step on whether to go back to Lola Nidora or something else. She was standing backstage when Alden finally saw her. YayaDUB eventually turned around and finally saw Alden in person. She giggled like a little girl at the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode. Only Allan K was heard among them very happy in witnessing this legendary moment.

It served as another opportunity for Lola Nidora to justify her behavior against the couple.
Lo and behold! She is now lecturing Alden and YayaDUB about ruined trust. About how she is just testing Alden and YayaDUB if they can keep their promise to her. For her a promise is sacred. (Um, yeah. Just like the promise she forced YayaDUB into making in an effort to marry Frankie Arenolli way back in the ALDUB Against All Odds episode) She went on to say how disappointed she is of Alden and YayaDUB. Alden tried to go back to the stage in an effort to get to YayaDUB on the other side. But Lola Nidora managed to get the floor plan herself to lock Alden up away from YayaDUB. Alden and YayaDUB could only cry behind the wall that kept them apart.
At this point in the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode. Lola Nidora has become the epitome of an overprotective parent. And she’s not even a parent. She then switched her attention to the Rogelios. Too bad, the Rogelios are too preoccupied with selfies with the main hosts of Eat Bulaga. Inefficient as always. Makes you wonder why Lola Nidora hasn’t fired them yet. Maybe because they’re the cheapest bodyguards available today.
As Lola Nidora was berating the Rogelios for ignoring her in the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode. A couple of men in ski masks took YayaDUB away. Lola Nidora didn’t know them. Without the Rogelios, she went down using a ladder herself. Her knowledge of the building’s blueprint is useless now. In panic, she tried to remove the wall that blocked Alden. Backstage maintenance personnel lifted up the wall to let Alden out. Alden immediately ran out. Too late. The van carrying YayaDUB was gone.
In Lola Nidora’s twisted sense of protecting YayaDUB from Alden. She lost YayaDUB to a couple of masked thugs. There was a hunch that they were from the troll that kept bugging Lola Nidora over the phone. Whoever that person may be, he now has the diary and YayaDUB. Now she even had the gall to ask Alden for help. On the other hand, Alden would definitely help. It would mean saving YayaDUB. And finally winning the approval of Lola Nidora.
