In his remarks, President Duterte calls for the universal access of every nation to a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine since this is the only key to put an end to the pandemic. He asserts that it is our moral responsibility to help each other in times of crisis with solidarity and urgency.
Furthermore, he conveys his warmest gratitude to the GAVI Alliance for its initiative in bringing much needed vaccines to developing countries and assures that the Philippines remains committed to help in the global fight against COVID-19.
