To have credible air force, Phil. Air Force needs 24 units of Textron Scorpion ISR Fighter used for Intelligence, Surveilance, Reconaissance roles, close air support and COIN roles, 24 units of FA-50 light multirole fighter used as LIFT/bomber, 24 units JAS 39 Gripen NG(E model) multirole/swing role fighter used as interceptor/Electronic Warfare fighter, 24 units F-16 C Block 52+ used as interceptor/air superiority fighter and 3 units of Saab AEWACS plane . All figthers must have advanced avionics, AESA radar and BVR capability. By assigning 8 fighters per squadron, PAF will have 12 squadrons of jet fighters in all credible enough to defend our territory. No need to acquire P-Orion Maritime Patrol it can be done by Textron Scorpion ISR Fighter which has low operating cost. PAF can form 3 fleets, 1 fleet for Luzon comprising 4 squadrons, 1 fleet for Visayas with 4 squadrons and 1 fleet for Mindanao with 4 squadrons. But if the next President of the Republic of the Philippines is corrupt and not like Pnoy who is honest. All these dream will be gone. So, Please vote wisely whom be the next President, If I were to vote i chose Mar Roxas. This is my opinion just respect it.
