President Rodrigo Roa Duterte convenes several Cabinet members for the second time this week to discuss the latest efforts of the Philippine Government in addressing the public health crisis brought by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
As the nation faces a continuing surge of COVID-19 cases, President Duterte reassures his fellow Filipinos that the government is finding ways to improve the current capacity of the country’s health facilities, accelerating the vaccination program and adopting new strategies, among others.
