Healthy or not, i find filipino food so satisfying…
Filipinos are dropping dead in drones due to their diet. Mostly they eat letchon (pork or chicken) cooked over a barbecue and basted with fat and rice. Vegetables hardly figure in their diet. The result is a range of diseases including what they call 'high blood', gallstones, elevated cholesterol etc. The middle classes there, who are a small minority, may eat slightly better, but even they laugh at me with my salads. Filipinos have a long way to go on most of the aspects of life we take for grated in the West. Sadly even when they move here and work as nurses and doctors thing hardly improve. It strikes me that this documentary is another piece of BBC PC nonsense.
it's World class. Most Filipinos just doesn't know how to organize or present our food like what goes with what. We actually have a lot of Vegetable dishes too, but I don't seem to see a lot of our vegie dishes on here or presented on international tv.
