President Rodrigo Roa Duterte convenes several Cabinet members to discuss the latest updates and developments in addressing the effects of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in the country.
As the government nears the acquisition of vaccines and prepares the logistical and human resource requirements, President Duterte reminds his countrymen to be very cautious and continue observing health and safety protocols since the threat of the virus still lingers.
He announces that no children ages 10-14 shall be allowed to leave their residences until further guidance from the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).
On another matter, the Chief Executive reads another batch of names of corrupt officials from different government agencies and issues a stern warning to people using his name or the Office of the President for acts of corruption and extortion. He remains committed that his administration shall never tolerate any form of wrongdoings in the government.
