As the ALDUB True Love Waits episode starts off, a white car enters the scene. The remaining Rogelio hopped off the car. The driver turned out to be Lola Nidora herself. And for this she scolded the Rogelio’s. She is in blame mode again. She blamed the Rogelio for the challenge that Alden passed.
As usual, the Rogelio’s are quiet. Lola Nidora went on to elaborate how the Rogelio’s should be blamed. According to her, the challenge was their idea. They estimated that running from Broadway Centrum to EDSA would take 40 minutes. That gave her the idea to slash the time in half. Making it harder for Alden supposedly to reach EDSA in time. Prior to the ALDUB True Love Waits episode, the world witnessed how Alden made it in time with less than 3 minutes remaining.
Frankie was present in the ALDUB True Love Waits episode. He tried to come near to YayaDUB. Even if it meant risking another collapse on her part. She already felt dizzy simply at the sight of Frankie. She deliberately ignored him as she tried to look for Alden through her monitor. She wanted to see Alden again. Lola Nidora tried to convince YayaDUB that Alden is absent. That she would hear nothing of that “Dalinay! Dalinay! Twikilay! Twikilay!” Dubsmash crap. YayaDUB ended up ignoring her too.
Later, Alden shows up in this ALDUB True Love Waits episode. And he ended up flirting with YayaDUB again much to the delight of the audience. Lola Nidora made sure that she will not be ignored. She would even block YayaDUB’s way so that Alden would not kiss him. Good thing Alden paused in time before kissing Lola Nidora by mistake. Half-scared and half-disgusted, Alden even covered Lola Nidora’s face on the monitor. Seeing Alden evolve in the way he handled Lola Nidora as a problem is quite impressive as seen in this ALDUB True Love Waits episode.
YayaDUB made a hand gesture in the shape of a half-heart. Alden immediately got the hunch and made the half-heart hand sign too. Then he pressed it on the screen to make the heart whole. It made the couple’s resolve stronger. Hence the episode getting the hashtag for ALDUB True Love Waits.
Apparently, Lola Nidora is becoming less and less of a problem to Alden. That is if his facial expressions would be used as basis. While everyone agrees that in ALDUB True Love Waits. Lola Nidora just kept the waiting game harder and harder to bear. For Lola Nidora, the feeling is just mutual. She then prodded YayaDUB for her medication again. YayaDUB almost gave her the wrong “chewy-ble” if not for being conscious enough about the right piece to take.
Lola Nidora then threw a challenge for YayaDUB to face herself. Lola Nidora or Alden? YayaDUB obviously looked conflicted without replying to her question. While she can still fan Lola Nidora with her abanico, she tried to be left on her thoughts. It’s just that in the ALDUB True Love Waits episode as in other episodes. Lola Nidora just refuses to leave her alone to be happy with Alden.
Later, the riding in tandem showed up. One of them hopped off and gave several packs of chicharon to Lola Nidora. Later she acknowledged the riders as the men keeping her diary hostage. She tried to catch up to them. In her efforts to chase the riding in tandem, stress took over. Lola Nidora then passed out in the middle of the street. Only YayaDUB managed to go to her rescue. The Rogelio’s simply stood by. Waiting for Lola Nidora to get up since YayaDUB rushed to her anyway. In the ALDUB True Love Waits episode, YayaDUB’s loving nature prevailed. She was there for Lola Nidora when the Rogelio’s can’t live up to their job.
When Lola Nidora regained consciousness. She simply walked to the Rogelio’s and tried to hit them. She then went back to the packs of chicharon given to her. Turns out that they are from Alden. It must have been Alden’s reaction to a previous comment that Lola Nidora made. Lola Nidora complained in the past of how Alden was indifferent to her unlike Frankie. Still, Lola Nidora was unmoved. She even complained to YayaDUB how inconsiderate Alden really was of her. She’s having a hoarse voice plus coughing and Alden sends some chicharon? It would worsen the sore throat she’s already suffering from. ALDUB true love waits. But waiting for Lola Nidora to soften up to Alden might take a little longer.
Alden immediately tried what he could to warm up to Lola Nidora. Lola Nidora on the other hand tried to ignore Alden. She claimed that his charms would not work on her. She went back into broken record mode. Blaming Alden for everything wrong that went to her life. YayaDUB would get part of the blame too. Later in this ALDUB True Love Waits episode. Lola Nidora was shown talking on her mobile phone in English.
The diary. The riding in tandem. The ineptitude of the remaining Rogelio. And the fact that the ALDUB True Love Waits. There was an effort for ALDUB to keep the faith. To keep the fire of love burning in their hearts. The only thing stronger than fear is hope. So as much as Alden is afraid of Lola Nidora, he would still pine for YayaDUB.
