#ALDUBTheTrials [Fan Art from @MaineAlden16 included] One of the founding fathers of Eat Bulaga, Mr. Joey de Leon, spoke in behalf of everyone shocked at last Saturday’s episode. What really happened to YayaDUB after the ALDUB Most Awaited Date? The episode may have come up short on the date’s activities. But interest on YayaDUB is now on an all-time high.
Donya Tidora was simply waiting on her spot for Lola Nidora and YayaDUB at ALDUB The Trials episode. She kept herself busy with her make-up workshop. She managed to attract some young girls to learn how to draw brows like hers. “Bossing” Vic Sotto suggested to fellow dabarkads Allan K that he should sport brows like that of Donya Tidora. Donya Tidora asked Allan K. “Gusto mo ng kilay?” (Want brows?) Allan K protested “Wag!” (Don’t!)
Lola Nidora arrived a little later at ALDUB The Trials episode. The Rogelios are being inefficient again. One walked faster than the 2 behind him. Lola Nidora ended up pinching these 2 Rogelios first. “Akayin nyo ko! Sino babantayan nyo? Ito?” (Assist me! Who are you guarding? This?) Then pinched on the Rogelio that walked ahead of the two. The KalyeSerye commentators Bossing Vic, Boss Joey and Allan K even noticed how Lola Nidora’s walking was similar to an old woman with back problems.
Donya Tidora cut to the chase. Where is YayaDUB? Lola Nidora immediately broke down. “Dahil pinayagan ko si Yaya mag-date, ayun. Eto pa ang nangyari.” (Because I allowed nanny to go on a date, there it goes. And this is what happened.) The alarm clock went off. It’s time for granny’s medicine. Lola Nidora end up missing YayaDUB more due to the inefficiency of the Rogelios. One of them just handed her brand name bag without opening it. When he opened it, he handed over the alarm clock. Lola Nidora was pissed all over again. It’s as if the Rogelios expected Lola Nidora to swallow the alarm clock. YayaDUB would usually have the medicine kit in her own bag and open everything herself. And all that’s Lola Nidora left to do is receive the medicine. She lamented. “Iniisip niya kalusugan ko kesa sa kaligayahan niya.” (She thought of my health instead of her happiness.)
Donya Tidora volunteered to give Lola Nidora the medicine herself. Lola Nidora doesn’t trust her enough to let her. Donya Tidora commented. “Ayan! Natuto na yung bata sa mga turo mo.” (There! The kid has learned from what you taught her.) Lola Nidora could not answer everybody’s question about YayaDUB. She tried diverting the attention to Donya Tinidora. The Cuando Cuando Cuando are in full force. But where is Donya Tinidora? Donya Tidora was quick to answer. “May inaayos sa embassy! Inayos ang US visa niya. Nasan si Yaya?” (She is at the embassy! She walked her US visa papers. Where is nanny?) Simply mentioning YayaDUB would bring Lola Nidora back to breakdown mode in ALDUB The Trials episode.
Everyone want none of the runaround anymore. Donya Tidora was beside herself and started shaking Lola Nidora. Lola Nidora does not appreciate the gesture. She yelled at Donya Tidora. “Ano ba? Pinapaamin mo ko eh!” (What? You are interrogating me!) Donya Tidora yelled back at Lola Nidora. “Ayaw mong magsalita eh!” (You don’t want to talk!) Lola Nidora fixed the collar of her dress and her necklace. “Para kang imbestigador eh!” (You’re like an investigator!)
The sisters were barely done with talking when Big Bang’s “Fantastic Baby” played in the background. YayaDUB appeared afterwards with her head bandaged. The crowd at the Eat Bulaga studio was so happy. They ended up dancing too. Donya Tidora was concerned though about the bandage. YayaDUB can manage to dance. But she would occasionally pause to hold her head from the side. Donya Tidora chastised Lola Nidora for crying as if something worse happened to YayaDUB. She added what everyone speculated on Twitter. “Kala ko nagka-amnesia.” (I thought she had amnesia.) [Everyone watching ALDUB The Trials episode knew that this ALDUB segment is a soap parody. So while the amnesia angle is one of the most overused tropes on soaps.The ALDUB Nation is still interested at how Eat Bulaga’s writers would parody that angle.]
YayaDUB still can’t talk. But no Dubsmash tracks can fit the story of what happened last Saturday. So she had to narrate the events after the ALDUB Most Awaited Date charade-style. She pulled out the alarm clock. Donya Tidora understood it as the part where the alarm clock went off. [In ALDUB The Trials episode, Donya Tidora was again YayaDUB’s interpreter.] Then she pulled out the medicine kit in connection to the alarm clock. YayaDUB demonstrated how she ran out of Broadway Centrum into the car. The car drove and crashed to a running tricycle. YayaDUB’s head then bumped forward.
Lola Nidora supported YayaDUB ‘s story since she can talk in ALDUB The Trials episode. “Tumama yung ulo sa batok nung driver. Nagalusan nung shades nung driver.” (The head hit the driver’s nape. She got bruised with the driver’s shades.) The driver’s shades were on his nape, facing YayaDUB. So when the car collided with the tricycle, YayaDUB’s head smashed on the driver’s shades. In between YayaDUB trying to relay what happened, she kept holding to her head. Apparently it still hurt.
Donya Tidora then changed the topic to Alden. How did YayaDUB feel at seeing Alden again? YayaDUB did not hide the giddy feeling at seeing Alden in better circumstances. It was obvious on ALDUB The Trials episode. Lola Nidora was almost emotionless as opposed to Donya Tidora’s overflowing giddy reactions. They managed to talk despite the big-ass table that kept YayaDUB away from Alden. YayaDUB is still reeling from the head trauma. But not too painful to forget the exhilaration she felt last Saturday.
Alden then showed up on the other monitor to the tune of James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful”. He was worried sick at what happened to YayaDUB. He wrote on his clipboard. “Kaya mo pa ba?” (Can you still hang on?) YayaDUB gave him the thumbs up for assurance. She then wrote on her clipboard. “Para sa yo, kinaya ko.” (For you, I endured it.) Alden then replied. “Ako rin kakayanin ko para sa yo” (Me too. I would endure it for you.) Alden then Dubsmashed to the tune of Robbie Williams’ “She’s The One”. The playlist used in ALDUB The Trials episode is starting to expand. Soon the ALDUB playlist once found here on our website would get some sequels.
Alden mentioned to YayaDUB that she left something. YayaDUB thought Alden is referring to the sticks of grilled chicken intestines on the long table. Alden then wrote “Puso ko” (My heart). Alden then showed the other item that YayaDUB left when she rushed out of the building. She left her green clipboard. He archived YayaDUB’s answers that matched his answers in the second Matching Game that Lola Nidora did on the ALDUB Most Awaited Date episode. YayaDUB’s only distraction is her throbbing headache in ALDUB The Trials episode.
Alden then offered to kiss YayaDUB. This time he kissed her on the forehead. Right on the bandaged part itself as seen on ALDUB The Trials episode. That was very sweet of Alden. He obviously harbored no hard feelings for the long table unlike Donya Tidora. She openly complained to Lola Nidora. “Grabe naman yung table na ginamit mo sa date ha?” (The table used on the date is an overkill ha?) Lola Nidora snapped back at Donya Tidora. “Bakit ikaw ang nagrereklamo?” (Why are you the one complaining?) Donya Tidora was almost livid in ALDUB The Trials episode. “Eh kasi nakakainis eh!” (It’s irritating.) Lola Nidora justified the long table. “Eh yun ang gusto kong table eh. Yun ang nakasanayan kong table sa mansion. Yung mahaba.” (It’s the table that I wanted. It’s the one I got used to in the mansion. The long one.)
The kisses between Alden and YayaDUB did not escape Lola Nidora’s eyes. “Ikaw, yaya ha? Di na kayo nahiya ha? Nagki-kiss na kayo sa harap ko! Kinikilig ako!” (Nanny? You didn’t feel any sense of shame anymore? You’re now kissing in front of me! I feel giddy!) Everyone can sense the leniency in Lola Nidora here in ALDUB The Trials episode. But she didn’t forget justifying her reasons for the long table. “Puede silang magtabi pero no no no no.” (They may sit beside each other but no no no no.) Donya Tidora reiterated though how Alden and YayaDUB kept their word. “Sumunod sila sa bilin mo.” (They followed your reminder.) Lola Nidora expressed her satisfaction at ALDUB The Trials episode. “Kaya nga natutuwa ako sa mga bata.” (That’s why I am pleased with the kids.)
In ALDUB The Trials episode. Lola Nidora entertained the thought of using a shorter table. Boss Joey did not hide his skepticism knowing Lola Nidora. “Di kaya pagdating ng panahon, mahjong table na gamit nila?” (Could it be that come the right time, they end up using the mahjong table?) [An obvious reference how the mahjong table is usually for women of advanced age like the three grannies.] This pushed Alden to ask Lola Nidora in ALDUB The Trials episode. “Puede po, Lola, isa pang date?” (Granny, may I have another date?) Lola Nidora replied. “Okay lang sa akin, Alden. Sa tamang panahon.” (It’s okay with me, Alden. In the right time.) Lola Nidora assured that it will not be a split screen date anymore. Granted that Alden and YayaDUB won’t ruin her trust again. Alden was pleased. He then wrote on his clipboard. “Love you, Lola”.
Lola Nidora then asked YayaDUB to open her email. In this age of Twitter and Facebook at ALDUB The Trials episode, Lola Nidora’s advancement seems to be stuck at email. She doesn’t seem to be in a hurry. She was chatting with Donya Tidora when she heard the word “Lola …” Lola Nidora was startled. She can’t trace where the voice came from. Donya Tidora thought they were being haunted. All of a sudden in ALDUB The Trials episode, Lola Nidora went looking for YayaDUB. They then turned around to see YayaDUB unconscious on the bench.
Lola Nidora wasn’t sure if it was YayaDUB that she heard call her. But she prompted Donya Tidora to check YayaDUB’s pulse. In ALDUB The Trials episode. Lola Nidora felt YayaDUB is cold. She called on the Rogelios to carry her to the van. Donya Tidora then asked Lola Nidora if she even had YayaDUB checked by x-ray. Lola Nidora doesn’t remember. Donya Tidora can’t keep her mouth shut. “Nahihilo … baka buntis!” (She’s dizzy … might be pregnant!) Lola Nidora almost scolded her sister for that far-fetched idea. How can YayaDUB get pregnant with a table that long? Definitely not true. Lola Nidora is more concerned at YayaDUB’s alleged first word: LOLA.
The voice sounds familiar in ALDUB The Trials episode. But Lola Nidora herself isn’t sure if it’s YayaDUB’s voice? YayaDUB did not get amnesiac.
