#ALDUBSeeYouAgain The ALDUB See You Again episode. It’s been 4 days after YayaDUB’s abduction. Lola Nidora has made a lot of enemies along the way. It has become difficult to guess which among them was behind YayaDUB’s abduction. No ransom mentioned. Just snippets of the poor nanny in a dilapidated bodega.
The ALDUB See You Again episode showed Lola Nidora handing out flyers with YayaDUB’s most recent photo. Last seen at Broadway Centrum on September 5, 2015 at the ALDUB Battle For A Cause episode. The Rogelios helped her out in distributing these flyers. She even promised a reward. Anyone that can give any leads to YayaDUB’s location would be given enough money to pay their apartment rent for the month. Seeing the Rogelios made the ordeal harder for Lola Nidora. Their ineptitude caused the abductors to focus on YayaDUB and take her away.
Donya Tinidora tried to appease Lola Nidora here at the ALDUB See You Again episode. Lola Nidora was so upset with the Rogelios. She wanted to fire them. She contemplated having any of Donya Tinidora’s Cuando Cuando Cuando as replacement. They may look like freshly dug corpses. But they are pretty coordinated compared to the Rogelios. Unfortunately, none of them are entertaining enough for Lola Nidora. (Yes. Entertainment was one of the bases for replacing any Rogelio with any Cuando) As much as Donya Tinidora is willing to share some of the Cuando Cuando Cuando with Lola Nidora. She can’t make her sister change her mind anymore.
Donya Tinidora then consoled Lola Nidora. She explained how everyone deserved a second chance. If she managed to give Alden a second chance after destroying the Countdown to Tamang Panahon coffee table book. She can give the Rogelios a second chance too. For now, Lola Nidora relented. There are priorities to be handled. And YayaDUB is her priority. Just when she has given the Rogelios a second chance, they fumbled again at the ALDUB See You Again episode. When Lola Nidora asked for her medication, one Rogelio handed her a pack of watermelon seeds. When Lola Nidora asked again, the same Rogelio handed her some antacid. (Kremil S again?)
The ALDUB See You Again takes a surrealist turn. YayaDUB is shown as stopped from behind by someone. Someone whose identity is revealed only through a hand. That hand pointed at YayaDUB as if reprimanding her for trying to escape. YayaDUB was so scared. She is still incapable of speech. All she did is shake her hand. Perhaps denying that she’s trying to escape. Later the same hand that reprimanded her handed her a plate of fried fish. The hosts, Allan K, Bossing Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon, had to take a closer look at what fish it is. It turned out to be galunggong.
Alden is shown on the other screen forlorn and inconsolable. He clutched for the pillow bearing YayaDUB’s face while waiting for developments. Lola Nidora and Donya Tinidora did not acknowledge his presence contrary to the hosts. This may have been the surrealist part indeed in the ALDUB See You Again episode. Alden was pining for YayaDUB’s safety. Just like Lola Nidora, Donya Tinidora and the rest of the ALDUB nation. YayaDUB does seem traumatized and weak from all this abduction. Alden has Dubsmashed several tunes already. But no response from YayaDUB.
Lola Nidora encouraged YayaDUB to at least show signs of her location. She realized how bad it has become after noticing that YayaDUB can’t even respond in Dubsmash herself. Lola Nidora was also aghast at the galunggong handed to YayaDUB. She may be her nanny. But she made sure that her nanny is well-fed from lapu-lapu dishes to creamed dory. YayaDUB could not even finish her meal. The ALDUB See You Again showed how shattered YayaDUB seemed.
It took awhile for her to regain her strength to find any effort to communicate. She found a box of trinkets and found a sharpie inside. She then wrote on the wall calling to Lola Nidora and Alden for help. Still no clue as to her whereabouts. The proof of life presented in the ALDUB See You Again episode is limited to showing YayaDUB alone and scared in the bodega. Lola Nidora has no idea who the kidnapper is. Whoever that person is, he/she/it just called Lola Nidora over the phone and laughs maniacally.
Later, the kidnapper called again. Lola Nidora accused the kidnapper of being the same person who stole the diary. Turns out that he/she/it didn’t. But whoever that person may be, it is ready to let go of YayaDUB. As Lola Nidora asked the kidnapper if there is anything in return, the ALDUB See You Again episode goes into cliffhanger mode.
If money is not the motive, what else could it be? If the kidnapper is not the same person keeping hostage of Lola Nidora’s diary, what is to gain in keeping YayaDUB to himself/herself/itself?
