The ALDUB Predictions episode opens with YayaDUB and Lola Nidora arriving in slow motion-esque walk. Donya Tidora and Donya Tinidora could only speculate on the issues hanging above their elder sister’s head. Lola Nidora’s precious diary turned out to be their mother’s diary too. This explained why Lola Nidora had a detailed explanation regarding the family tree on the ALDUB EB Tamang Panahon special episode.
YayaDUB is speaking here at the ALDUB Predictions episode too. Also, she’s not wearing the apron just like in the ALDUB New Beginnings episode. Perhaps an effort to bring back Divina’s status in the household as the child of privilege. (Still, characters in the KalyeSerye call her “Yaya”.) She greeted Donya Tidora and Donya Tinidora. “Hello po sa mga lola kong magaganda.” (Hello to my beautiful grannies.) Donya Tidora loved the honesty. Donya Tinidora thought that YayaDUB should learn how to be more honest. “Ang mga lola kong magaganda! Kasingganda ni Yaya! Buti na lang hindi nagmana sa ate nila!” (My beautiful grannies! As beautiful as nanny! Good thing they didn’t get it from their elder sister!)
Donya Tidora then asked YayaDUB. “How are you, Yaya?” YayaDUB replied with a DUBsmash track of “Happy”. Donya Tinidora had other thoughts in the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Happy ang kinakanta pero baligtad. Stressed na naman yang bata na yan! Kaya nagma-mashdubbing na naman yan!” (She is singing Happy but it’s the other way around. That kid is stressed again! So she’s DUBsmashing again!) YayaDUB replied with another DUBsmash. “I Don’t Care” by 2NE1.
The sisters then just went to ask Lola Nidora directly. Donya Tidora shifted her attention to Lola Nidora. “Ate, bakit bagsak na naman ang mukha mo?” (Elder sister, why the long face again?) Lola Nidora just stared at them, prolonging the long face. Donya Tinidora’s sarcasm is at it again. “Para ka namang pinagsakluban ng langit at lupa.” (You look like heaven and earth descended upon you.) Donya Tidora tried to be nice though. “Hindi kami sanay na ganyan ka.” (We are not used to seeing you like that.) As of the ALDUB Predictions episode. Lola Nidora is already in possession of the infamous diary. So she is supposed to be happy.
Dawin’s song “Dessert” played in the ALDUB Predictions episode in an effort to make Lola Nidora smile again. The clip was played and ended. And still no reaction from Lola Nidora. Donya Tinidora just took it in stride. “May pinagdadaanan nga kaya ganyan.” (She’s going through something hence the look.) Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB then spoke. “Lola, wag ka na kasing malungkot. Nalulungkot din po ako eh.” (Granny, stop being sad. I get sad too.) Seems like Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB is starting to speak longer and longer lines.
Donya Tinidora put her sharp tongue into use again. “Paanong hindi magkakaganyan yan? Pagod na, sume-set pa.” (How come she will not feel that way? She’s tired and she’s still setting.) As Lola Nidora tried to suppress her laughter. Alden appeared on the other monitor DUBsmashing “Sulat”. Later he got his mic too and called Maine. “Maine, kumusta ka?” (Maine, how are you?) She replied. “Okay lang. Si Lola kasi ano eh.” (I’m okay. It’s that Granny is into something.) Alden replied. “Ganun? Lola! Lola! Lola!” (Is that so? Granny! Granny! Granny!) Alden tried getting Lola Nidora’s attention at the ALDUB Predictions episode. All that Lola Nidora could reply with is “Ah”.
Once Alden got Lola Nidora’s attention, he continued. “Pasasayahin ko po kayo, Lola.” (I will entertain you, granny.) He then DUBsmashed Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Cuando Cuando Cuando”. Later the camera shifted to Boss Jimmy Santos, Lola Nidora’s mild crush. Later, Boss Jimmy was singing along to Alden’s DUBsmash effort at the ALDUB Predictions episode. Later, Alden DUBsmashed Elvis Presley’s “Love Me Tender”. He really chose hits that would remind Lola Nidora of her youth.
Alden then asked Lola Nidora. “Lola, smile na uy!” (Granny, smile please!) Later he DUBsmashed “Dessert” to invite Lola Nidora to dance at the ALDUB Predictions episode. Lola Nidora could manage to smile. But not dance. Alden then kissed Lola Nidora on the forehead to further appease her. Lola Nidora was thankful for the gesture. “Salamat, Alden. Kaya ako malungkot kasi-” (Thanks, Alden. I am sad because-) She could not continue as a bug got caught on her lips. “Bakit may lamok?” (How come there is a mosquito?)
Donya Tinidora has a nice explanation for the mosquito. “Ang lamok kasi sa madumi lang kumakapit yan.” (Mosquitoes only stick on dirty places.) Lola Nidora justified herself at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Kaya nga nagsasalita na ako.” (That’s why I’m already talking.) Donya Tinidora discouraged her further from talking. “Kaya nga wag ka munang magsalita. Dumadami ang lamok.” (That’s why you shouldn’t talk first. The mosquitoes are multiplying.) Lola Nidora blamed it on her current diet. “Puro kasi halaman ang kinakain ko.” (I’ve been eating mostly plants lately.)
Lola Nidora then continued with the explanation. “Ito kasing diary kulang ang pahina. Hindi kumpleto, naguguluhan ako. Eto yung karugtong kahapon.” (This diary lacked pages. It’s not complete, I’m confused. This is the continuation from yesterday.) She then prodded the Rogelios to keep their guard up. She’s reopening the diary to read from where she left off at the ALDUB New Beginnings episode. The riding in tandem might come out of nowhere again and snatch the diary in the ALDUB Predictions episode.
At the ALDUB New Beginnings episode. Lola Nidora read about the house to be visited on 31 October 2015. She tried to continue at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Ang bahay ay napapalibutan ng mga …” (The house is surrounded by …) Lola Nidora herself has trouble reading the diary. She had to ask her sisters for some assistance. Either the diary featured in the ALDUB Predictions episode has gotten that old. Or their mother’s handwriting is hard to read. “Hindi ko mabasa ang nakasulat kasi may …” (I can’t read what’s written because of …) Lola Nidora can’t identify the rest of the handwriting due to some dirt. So she can’t decipher what item surrounds the house pertained to in her mother’s diary entry. She decided to skip on that part for now.
Lola Nidora continued after skipping the soiled lines. “Meron itong malaking bintana at pinto na nakaharap sa kanluran.” (It has a big window and a door facing west.) Donya Tidora and Donya Tinidora were quick to look for the west direction. Lola Nidora found other descriptions written. “Sa pagpasok mo ay may isang malaking larawan ng isang magandang babae.” (Upon entering, a big picture of a beautiful woman is seen.) Their mother wrote this diary as mentioned in the ALDUB Predictions episode. But Donya Tinidora openly speculated on who that beautiful woman is.
Notes described the house further as narrated by Lola Nidora in the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Ang susi ng bahay na ito ay nasa mansion na titirhan. Nakalagay ito sa paboritiong tagpuan ng mahal mo sa buhay.” (The key to this house is in the mansion to be inhabited. It is placed in the favorite meeting place of your loved ones.) Lola Nidora openly wondered. “Ang laki ng mansion. Saan kaya yung paboritong tagpuan?” (The mansion is so big. Where could the favorite meeting place be?)
The phone rang again. It was Rihanna. “Yes. Itapon mo lahat ng mga paso diyan sa hardin. Pati yung mga bote. Baka pamahayan ng lamok. Ayokong magka-dengue. Inunahan ko na yung lamok.” (Yes, Throw away all the pots by the garden. Including the bottles. Mosquitoes might live there. I don’t want dengue. Earlier I got one step ahead of the mosquito.) Donya Tidora mentioned the little net above Lola Nidora’s head. “Hindi pala effective yung kulambo mo eh.” (Your mosquito net is not that effective after all.) Lola Nidora continued with her instructions. “Saka, Rihanna, yung pinakamalaking paso diyan na hindi na tinataniman ng mga hardinero, pabuhat mo. Patapon mo na rin.” (And, Rihanna, the biggest pot there that the gardeners don’t plant into anymore, have it carried out. Have it thrown away.)
After getting over with the instructions to Rihanna. Lola Nidora went back to reading the diary at the ALDUB Predictions episode. Donya Tidora found a folded piece of paper among the pages that Lola Nidora flipped. Lola Nidora raised it above the diary for everyone to see. The paper has a foul smell. “Wow, actingan lang ‘to uy! Ang baho ng papel!” (This is just an act! The paper stunk!) It must have smelled like molds. Lola Nidora then opened the foul-smelling piece of paper.
Lola Nidora tried to remember the part where they stopped reading the diary at the ALDUB New Beginnings episode. “Di ba tumigil tayo sa ang batang kukupkupin? Ng anak mo ay siya ang magiging maswerte sa pamilya?” (Didn’t we stop at the child to be adopted? That the child will bring luck to the family?) Donya Tinidora agreed. Lola Nidora immediately understood the child referred to in her mother’s diary entry. “Maswerte ka naman talaga, Yaya.” (You are really lucky, nanny.) Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB then DUBsmashed “Happy” at the ALDUB Predictions episode.
Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB then replied. “Lola, ako po ang maswerte sa inyo.” “Ang batang yan ay magiging maswerte sa pag-ibig. Maraming dadaan. Pero sa dulo’y matatagpuan niya ang kanyang hinahanap.” (That child will be lucky in love. So much will occur. But in the end will find what she’s looking for.) Alden and Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB then got into another exchange of DUBsmash hits in the ALDUB Predictions episode. Alden later commented. “Maine, sabi ni Lola, swerte ka raw sa pag-ibig. Ako na kaya yun?” (Maine, granny said that you’re lucky in love. Could that be me?) Alden was so consumed with that giddy feeling. He was seen later running to and from the props room. Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB replied by DUBsmashing Maja Salvador’s “Kilig”.
Alden rode on the momentum to keep asking Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB some questions at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Sabi ni Lola, matatagpuan mo na raw yung hinahanap mo. Natagpuan mo na ba? Ako unang nagtanong eh.” (Granny said that you will find what you are looking for. Have you found it? I asked first.) Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB then played it safe. “Eh ikaw muna sumagot. Ako yung babae.” (You answer first. I am the girl.) Alden then replied. “Ako natagpuan ko na.” (I found it.) She was a bit startled with his reply. The KalyeSerye commentators then egged YayaDUB to reply. YayaDUB then replied in her best Gasgas impersonation ever. “Opo.” (Yes.)
Lola Nidora was her usual forlorn self at observing Alden and YayaDUB. “Pareho kayong natagpuan. E kung halimbawa hingin na ni Alden yung matamis mong oo?” (Both of you found. What if for example Alden would ask for your sweet yes?) YayaDUB replied. “Manligaw po muna siya. Di lahat ng bagay nakukuha sa madalian.” (He should woo me first. Not everything is taken so quickly.) Lola Nidora commented on her reply. “Tine-testing lang kita, Yaya. Akala ko kasi, sa tingin ko sa mga galaw galaw mo, hindi ka na magpapaligaw. Buti natatandaan mo mga turo ko.” (I am just testing you, nanny. I thought with your movements, you won’t allow him to woo you. Good thing you still remember the things I taught you.) YayaDUB agreed. “Opo, Lola. Hindi ko po makakalimutan.” (Yes, granny. I will never forget them.) Lola Nidora then shocked everyone watching the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Balik tayo sa sulat.” (Let’s go back to the letter.)
Lola Nidora noticed how the diary entry contained mostly warnings. “Puro mag-iingat ang sinulat ni Mama. Mag-iingat lang sa mga tukso at mga taong maiinggit sa kanila.” (Mama wrote mostly be careful. Be careful about the temptations and everyone envious at them.) Donya Tinidora downplayed most of these envious folks. Lola Nidora continued. “Maraming umiibig sa lalaki.” (There are so many who loved the man.) Divina a.k.a. YayaDUB can’t hide her jealousy. Alden’s reaction was more of curiosity at what was revealed so far in the ALDUB Predictions episode.
The reactions from the other grannies and the KalyeSerye commentators did not skip Lola Nidora’s consciousness. “Gusto mo, magturo ako?” (Want me to point some?) Donya Tinidora tried to stop her at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Hoy!” So Lola Nidora went back to reading her mother’s detached diary page. “Dun din sa batang kukupkupin nyo. Pero ang mga puso nila’y nagtama. Nasa kamay nila kung ito’y mahahawakan ng pang-forever.” (Same thing goes for the child you’re about to adopt. But their hearts matched. It’s in their hands if this will be grasped forever.) Allan K can’t help but comment on the word used. “Grabe si mama mo. Alam na yung forever.” (Your mama is something else. She already knew ‘forever’.)
Lola Nidora tried not to get lost in the words while reading the detached page at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Mag-iingat lang sa mga tukso. At isa pa. Sa mga taong maiinggit sa kanila. Walang gamot sa inggit.” (Be careful of the temptations. And one more. To everyone envious of them. Envy is incurable.) Donya Tinidora disagreed at the part that said envy is incurable. Lola Nidora justified their mother’s words. It was written at a time when envy was still incurable. “Meron nang gamot sa inggit. Ointment.” (There is a cure for envy now. Ointment.)
Lola Nidora continued at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Itago mo ang susi sa hardin. Sa isang paso na hindi nila papansinin. At pagdating ng tamang panahon, matatagpuan din ang susi na yan na magbubukas sa unang pag-akyat nila sa inaasam nilang wagas na pag-ibig.” (Keep the key in the garden. In a pot where they will not notice. And come the right time, that key will open towards their first step towards their desired eternal love.) Donya Tinidora remembered Lola Nidora’s instructions to Rihanna. “Eh pano ngayon niyan? Pinatapon mo eh.” (What now? You had them all thrown out.) Lola Nidora could not remember. “Pinatapon ko ba?” (Did I have them all thrown out?)
Donya Tinidora played it safe and told Lola Nidora to continue at the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Kung hindi kayo makakapasok sa bahay na ito at makuha ang isang lumang alahasan sa tapat ng malaking salamin, baka hindi matuloy ang pag-ibig na inaasam. Ang makukuha sa isang lumang alahasan sa tapat ng malaking salamin. Kailangan makuha ito.” (If you cannot enter this house and get an old jewelry box in front of a big mirror, the love aspired for may not push through. You will get in an old jewelry box in front of a big mirror. You need to get this.)
Donya Tinidora tried connecting the dots as she understood it in the ALDUB Predictions episode. “Ang ibig sabihin, ang susi sa bahay ang tinutukoy ni Mama sa diary, nasa mansion lang?” (Meaning, the key to the house is what Mama is referring to in the diary is just at the mansion?) Donya Tidora focused more on the task mentioned. “May kailangan tayong makuha dun para matuloy ang forever.” (We need to get something for forever to continue.)
Donya Tidora found it amazing to read about a prediction way back in 1938. “Mahiwaga ang bahay na yan. Mukhang noon pa man nakatadhana na ang pag-ibig nitong si Alden at si Yaya. Isipin mo. 1938 pa nakita na ng nakilala ni Mama na Pranses ang mga pangyayaring ito.” (That house is thrilling. Seems like even then the love of Alden and nanny is destined. Think about it. The French soothsayer that Mama met saw everything way back in 1938.) Lola Nidora was seen in the ALDUB Predictions episode trying to unlock her phone.
Donya Tinidora had to remind Lola Nidora. “Ate, hanapin natin yang bahay na yan. Kung nakakatakot man yan, matapang tayo. At kunin natin ang dapat nating kunin. Makakatulong yan kay Alden at saka kay Maine.” (Elder sister, let’s find that house. It ever it’s scary, we’re brave. And let’s get what we needed to get. It will be very helpful to Alden and to Maine.) Apparently, Lola Nidora can’t unlock her phone at the ALDUB Predictions episode. It took longer than expected for her to unlock the phone and call Rihanna.
Lola Nidora found the radio at the background as too noisy. But she continued with her new instructions. “Yung mga pinapatapon ko sa yo, wag mo muna itapon. I-hold mo. Hold. Ano? Nakaalis na yung truck? Lahat ng mga paso, nandun? Habulin mo, Rihanna. Habulin mo! Wag ka nang magtanong! Basta habulin mo! Kunin mo lahat ng mga paso!” (Those pots that I asked you to throw away, don’t throw them away just yet. Hold it. What? The truck has left? All the pots are there? Go after them, Rihanna. Chase them! Stop asking! Just chase them! Get all of the pots!) The truck horn honked signaling the end of the ALDUB Predictions episode.
