Short answer: To pay a bill on Coins.ph, open the app, tap Discover, choose Pay Bills, pick the biller, enter the amount and your account number, then tap Confirm. Buying load works the same way under Buy Load. Coins.ph says it charges no fee of its own on bill payments, although some billers add a processing fee that shows on the confirmation screen. Many payments post right away, but some take up to three business days, so don’t wait until the due date.
Update, October 30, 2026: Peso cash-in through InstaPay and PESONet is still unavailable on Coins.ph. Its status page has listed both as under maintenance since September 29. Coins.ph says bill payments, cash-outs, QR Ph payments and crypto trading continue and that user funds are safe. As of today, its status page also shows Bills Payment and Buy Load as operational. If your peso wallet is empty, see the cash-in options below.
Coins.ph is best known for crypto, but many Filipinos use it for everyday gastos like Meralco, internet, postpaid plans and prepaid load. Everything was checked against Coins.ph’s help center and news reports on October 30, 2026.
How do you pay bills on Coins.ph step by step?
- Open Pay Bills. In the Coins.ph app, tap the Discover tab at the bottom, then tap Pay Bills.
- Choose a category and biller. Coins.ph groups its billers into electric, water, government, telecom/cable/internet, credit cards and loans, insurance and memorial plans, education, e-commerce and payment gateways, real estate and collection services, airlines, and donations.
- Enter the details. Type the amount and your account or reference number exactly as it appears on your bill. Some billers also ask for the subscriber name.
- Review and confirm. Check the account number, amount and the Fee line, then tap Confirm.
The money comes out of your peso wallet. Keep the confirmation email Coins.ph sends, because it carries your reference number. Coins.ph doesn’t issue official receipts for bill payments, so if you need one, ask the biller.
Which billers can you pay with Coins.ph?
In August 2026, Coins.ph announced a direct integration with Bayad, formerly Bayad Center. The company says this brought its list to close to 300 billers across 17 categories. Philstar and BitPinas both reported the deal, and BitPinas cited Meralco, telcos and government contributions such as SSS, Pag-IBIG and PhilHealth as examples. The biller list can change, so search for your biller inside Pay Bills before your due date instead of assuming it is there.
How much does it cost, and how fast does a bill post?
| Item | What Coins.ph says (checked Oct 30, 2026) |
|---|---|
| Coins.ph bill payment fee | None. A biller or third-party fee, if any, shows on the Fee line before you confirm. |
| Posting time | Many bills post instantly; some take up to 3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. |
| Major billers via Bayad | Real-time posting, with payments confirmed within 24 hours, per the August 2026 announcement. |
| Proof of payment | Confirmation email with a reference number. There are no official receipts from Coins.ph. |
| Wrong account number or amount | Bill payments can’t be reversed. Contact the biller; excess amounts are usually credited on the next statement. |
If your bill is already overdue, Coins.ph itself advises paying the biller directly so the payment reaches them in time. Paying a credit card bill? Our first credit card guide explains why paying the full amount on time matters.
How do you buy load on Coins.ph?
- Tap Discover, then Buy Load (app only).
- Pick the network: Globe, TM, Smart, TNT, Smart Bro or Smart Home WiFi, or DITO. Sun users can use the Smart/TNT options.
- Enter the mobile number and choose an amount.
- Confirm. The load is paid from your peso wallet, and both you and the recipient should get an in-app and SMS confirmation within about 10 minutes.
Available amounts depend on the network. As of October 30, 2026, the help center lists Globe from ₱10 to ₱2,000, Smart from ₱15 to ₱1,000, TNT from ₱10 to ₱1,000, TM from ₱10 to ₱2,000, DITO from ₱15 to ₱1,000, and Smart Bro and Smart Home WiFi from ₱100 to ₱1,000. Regular load is plain airtime, so register a promo through your telco’s USSD code (such as *143# or *123#) or app, or use the app’s Buy Promo tab where available. International load is no longer offered.
What if your load or bill payment fails?
Coins.ph lists three common reasons a load purchase fails: the number was typed in the wrong format, the network doesn’t match the number, or the amount isn’t available for that network. When entering the number, leave out +63 and the leading 0. If the problem was a network error, the amount is usually returned to your wallet automatically. Wait 10 to 15 minutes and ask the recipient to check their balance before you contact support.
Be careful with the details, kasi there is no undo button. Load sent to the wrong number can’t be reversed, and neither can a bill paid to the wrong account. For bills, check the status under History and keep your reference number in case the biller asks.
Do you need a verified account to pay bills?
No. Coins.ph’s limits page (updated October 26, 2026) says a Basic account, set up with basic personal details, can already use Pay Bills, Buy Load and QR Ph payments. It has introductory limits of ₱10,000 a day and ₱100,000 a month for these, but regular withdrawals aren’t available. Becoming Identity Verified (government ID plus selfie) unlocks deposits and withdrawals with limits of ₱1,000,000 a day and ₱30,000,000 a month. An Enhanced level, which needs proof of income, goes up to ₱3,000,000 a day.
How can you add money while InstaPay cash-in is down?
As of today, Coins.ph’s help center lists other ways to fund your wallet. You can cash in over the counter at Cebuana Lhuillier, M Lhuillier, Palawan Express, Pera Hub and Villarica through Dragonpay, for a fixed ₱25 fee per order and a minimum of ₱100. Funds usually arrive within 10 minutes. Direct Cash-In is meant for large amounts and has a ₱100,000 minimum. If you hold crypto in the app, you can also sell it for pesos. Crypto prices are volatile, though, so the peso amount you get can be lower than what you paid.

Is Coins.ph safe to use for bills?
Coins.ph’s e-money arm, DCPay Philippines Inc., is on the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas list of electronic money issuers. Betur Inc., which runs its crypto service, is on the BSP list of virtual asset service providers. In late September 2026, the BSP partially suspended DCPay from receiving InstaPay and PESONet credits, BitPinas and Bankero reported. The company told Bankero that “our users’ funds are safe; we continue to operate as a BSP licensed institution.” Coins.ph e-wallet balances are e-money, not bank deposits, so keep your emergency fund in an insured bank account, such as a MariBank account, and keep only what you need for bills in the app.
